Dedeman Erbil Hotel City Center

We booked through Booking. Com and only found out at check-in that there was a fairly high additional fee to be paid. However, the receptionist was incredibly kind and upgraded us to an even better room, which we really appreciated. We stayed for one night.
Guests can access the swimming pools for free but must have or purchase appropriate swimwear.
The breakfast buffet was great, with a wide variety of options, including excellent cheeses and breads. The buffet is also open for walk ins if you reserve ahead of time.

I stayed few days in Dedeman hotel. Everything was perfect; location, facility, services. Especially, staff courtesy and the open buffer breakfast was immaculate. I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

First the location is not good, nothing around you, the citadel is almost 30min on foot, beside nowhere to go on foot, rooms are really big with a strange layout, but its ok, the AC is central you have no control, it was 12 outside and its set to 27, the room was an oven, so had to keep the windows open and they got me a fan. Fairly clean and basic amenities in the room.
The view is ok from the room, but still located far from most attractions are.
Only had breakfast there, it was huge, but tasteless, egg station is bad, the guy don't know what he is doing, bakery below average, and other options are below average too, but bare in mind food in Erbil all over is great, coffee is bad, like 80% of the hotels.
Staff are polite, nothing much can they do, its a management issue I think.
Its over priced I think low value for money.

I stayed at the Dedeman Erbil Hotel for three nights, and while the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, the overall experience was disappointing.
Let’s start with the positives: the service was excellent. The receptionists were friendly and quick to assist, and the housekeeping staff did their best to make guests feel comfortable. They were always polite, responsive, and willing to help with any requests.
However, the hotel itself really needs improvement. The rooms were outdated, with worn-out furniture and poor lighting. The bathroom was small, and the water pressure was inconsistent — sometimes hot, sometimes not. The air conditioning barely worked, making the room uncomfortable, especially at night.
Breakfast was another letdown — limited options, often cold, and not very fresh. The Wi-Fi connection was unstable and barely worked outside the lobby area.
Overall, while the service deserves praise, the hotel’s condition doesn’t justify its three-star rating. With better maintenance and some renovation, it could be a decent place to stay, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a short stopover.

I’m really glad I chose the Dedeman Hotel in Erbil. It’s a beautiful building with spacious rooms and an excellent view over the city. The amenities are outstanding, from the towels to the shampoos, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet is exceptional – one of the most complete I’ve had in the region.

I haven’t stayed in the rooms, but if they’re anything like the food and interior, you’ll probably love this place. The dishes are delicious—typically not too salty, similar to traditional Airbull cuisine. As a Muslim, I’m not sure if the meat is halal, as I didn’t ask. I did notice the chef praying, which might be a good sign, but I can’t confirm the food’s halal status. Overall, though, the taste and quality are excellent.

To be fair let's start with the staff, the receptionists are great, the sales lady Shreen was great.
Abd with Jager and others are great.
The hotel as a building is somewhat acceptable. The furniture is very old and needs replacing. The covers and towels are old and some of them are torn.
The bathrooms need renovation, No valet parking.

"My stay at the hotel was exceptional in every way. The hotel is distinguished by its great attention to detail to ensure the guest's comfort, from the cleanliness and organization of the rooms to the quality of the food, which was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent and prompt, reflecting the professionalism of the staff and their dedication to providing the best experience. I would also like to thank Mustafa, the Sales Manager, for his courteous and professional demeanor, which added significant value to my experience. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again soon. "

The hotel overall was good. The staff were good too but I would say it’s more of a 4 stars hotel. The location is close to everything. It has a spa, swimming pool and a gym. Rooms could be more ventilated. The food was very good and had many vegan and vegetarian options. The hotel entrance is a staircase and did not notice any accessibility for wheelchairs.

I am very happy in this hotel. Breakfast — dinner etc lots of good choices in open buffet. People are in reception such as Mr Mahmoud and Mr Khani so helpful. Also Mr DALSHAD as bellboy, he is doing much more than he should. Room is large and nice. I thank to this hotel management and the staff.
In Arbil, this hotel will always be my priority.

Hotel is very good but the staff at the reception is extremely rude.

“Attended an event at the Dedeman Convention Center, and it was excellent! The facilities are modern and spacious, with top-tier equipment. The staff was professional, ensuring a smooth experience, and the catering was delicious. A great venue for any event! ”

Everything was fantastic, rich breakfast, friendly staff (especially Raman who facilitated my arrival), room was super and super clean. Highly recommended.
The internet wasn’t reliable, can’t confirm if it’s because the electricity or just the ISP.

It's clean and have very good service and nice spa however the rome are small with old furniture, you have to get high level room for good view and far from street noise, car parking outside hotel property.
It's not very good value for money.

I stayed in the hotel couple of days. Hotel was very comfortable and clean staff are very friendly especially Raman who is working for reception he was very helpful and make you feel like you are in your home. Thanks for team everybody and Raman.
I will always come back to.

One of the best hotel in erbil. The rooms are complete and very clean. Breakfast and dinner are also quite delicious and diverse. All staff very kind and always smiling.

No additional restaurant, just the lubby one, although they tell us that there is one at time of booking.
The swimming pool is un fit for famiyl weather through its depth or by the additional bathroom or dressing room, while the photos on facebook site say it is suitable for children.
Rooms are too small.
Breakfast is poor in stuff fixed all the days but good organised.
I can classify it as a 4-star hotel.
