Al Sadier Palace

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel deserves one because of how disappointing my stay was. From the moment I entered the room, I knew it was going to be a bad experience. The air conditioning barely worked, and in the summer heat this was unbearable. The room itself was dirty – the floor wasn’t cleaned properly, the bathroom had stains, and the furniture looked extremely old and worn out.
Nothing in this hotel matches the photos or description online. It feels neglected, outdated, and poorly managed. For the price I paid, I expected at least a comfortable and clean stay, but instead I got a room that felt more like a cheap, run-down motel.
The management clearly does not care about guest comfort or cleanliness, and it shows. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and book somewhere else – you’ll thank yourself later.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel! The newly added refreshments in both the room and bathroom were a thoughtful and refreshing touch that made the experience even more comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options for every taste. The service was top-notch, and the housekeeping team maintained everything perfectly clean and well-organized. For just 105, 000 IQD per night for two persons, it’s a great value for the quality and comfort offered. Highly recommended for a relaxing and well-cared-for stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days during our business trip. Clean rooms and good breakfast at reasonable price. The staff is also very friendly.

Good breakfast, good Wi-Fi, ok rooms and friendly service. Hotel is a little worn out and the rooms are in need of an upgrade, but it's a good and central option for a reasonable price in downtown Baghdad.

Old furniture, no one can help you with your baggage despite the high cost you pay for everynight there. One other bad thing and was the most important for me is the sound of street and a power generator that you can't sleep in calm. The only good thing for me was their breakfast.

Stayed here as a tourist.
Spacious, old-school rooms, superb breakfast buffet and a convenient location.
Staff is an other story, they tried a currency conversion scam on me upon check-in and had a very arrogant attitude on most encounters.
Keycards constantly malfunction, I almost had to go back to the front desk every single time, to get it fixed.

I stayed there 4 nights in 3 different rooms. The first night was impossible to sleep due to the fact the room was facing the noisy Sadoun street and the windows are not good at all. Then they changed my room. On the building side there is more silence. I slept quite well. The breakfast is ok.
Receptionists are very kind and helpful.
By the way, since the price is quite high (85, 000 IDQ for 1 person) and the rooms are in very bad conditions, I would like to know where this money goes. Every tap has water leakages. Almost everything inside the room is damaged, sheets have holes, walls are marked, etc…
They clean the hotel hall a lot but in my opinion a maintenance of the rooms is required.

Very dirty hotel, the internet very bad, the rooms unclean and uncomfortable, the furniture very old, the location is not bad.
