West Papua Hotels

As a seasoned traveler in Indonesia, I highly recommend Aston Niu Manokwari. This hotel offers modern amenities, breathtaking ocean views, and exceptional service.

Great services, great location, great view, nice and friendly staffs, but there's still a little space for improvement in the room, specially in the bathroom.

Room was nice and had what you need. The pillows were very big though, I had trouble sleeping. Would be nice if there were two sizes of pillows.

Such a great experience staying at Swiss-Bel! I booked my room through mba Gabby with a corporate rate, she was extremely helpful, even when there was a brief miscommunication with the receptionist.

Vega is literally a couple of minutes walk from the airport so makes for great first or last day of a Raja Ampat trip. Nice big clean rooms with comfy beds and clean bedding.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Vega Hotel, a conference hotel conveniently located near the airport. The hotel offers clean, modern rooms equipped with excellent amenities.

Paradise Found in Raja Ampat.
We stayed at Papua Paradise Eco Resort for seven nights, and it truly lived up to its name.

This is a truly exceptional place. It is literally where the birds of Paradise come from.

I had the most incredible time on Scuba Republic’s 5-day dive safari. An absolute blast from start to finish.
Robin and Anggi, our guides, looked after us brilliantly.

I spent 5 days staying at Scuba Republic Raja Ampat doing fun dives around the nearby dive sites. I stayed in the hostel dorm which, for $30 per day, included 3 large meals.

In A Nutshell:
-Share the story of Methos.
-Methos’ father was a native fisherman from the Four Kings Islands, who was extremely poor.

Very beautiful location. Very good bungalows. Beautiful house reef. 2 villages within walking distance. Wide range of tours. Good food.

Great location, only five minutes from the airport.
Friendly staff.
Spacious room with excellent A/C and good shower with plenty of hot water.
Traditional and Western options for breakfast.

Love it. Simple, cheap, clean, and very friendly and helpful service.
Breakfast is great, and they also serve food the rest of the day if you don’t want to go out.

Very comfy clean and great service staying at this hotel!
Also with the smart TV you can log in with your account.

If you wanna spend transit in sorong after ur holiday, this Mamberamo hotel sure the best choice. Located close to City center with abundance convenience store and local culinary stall.

Sensational homestay 🥰
Very welcoming hosts. Lucia, Honey and staff ensured we were comfortable, fed us amazing, fresh food, offered great day trips to swim with mantas and travel to Arborek.

Rooms are very basic which is typical for Raja Ampat. But the surroundings are so beautiful it more than makes up for the shanty bungalow.

Nice place, very comfortable, hopefully more visitors will come here.

Nice place. Amazing gym + sauna pool jacuzzi. Gave us late check out and baggage storage. Huge huge breakfast. Didn't eat again until dinner. Room service.

The room was above average compared to other hotels in Sorong, just make sure you book room with windows, comparable to a four-star hotel, while the breakfast was arguably one of the best.

Not an auspicious start when we learned that Paulos who agreed to pick us up at the dock at 10, a time he chose for his convenience, didn’t show up nor tell us until we called to ask where he was!

Very friendly staff, delicious food and good spots with fish.

Best host in town! Tono is so kind and helpful, he even lent us his motorbike and gave us the best tips. He really takes care of his guests.

Spacious traditional cottages with one or two rooms. Tono is the best host, full of energy and a positive mindset.

I recommend this place. The staff is very kind and nice. The food is absolutely great, I haven't eaten such good food in a long time.

Electricity: 18-07. Starlink Wi-Fi in the restaurant 18-07. Cold beverages (Coke, Sprite, Fanta, price: 20 k) and beer (Bintang). They accept credit card, Wise or cash. Food was good.

Very well priced homestay a little further away in town. Offers a laundry service for 10k IDR per kilo. Food isn’t much to speak of but you can use Grab to order food. Internet is slow.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It is a simple but clean and comfortable little hotel. I heard a lot of people I met diving complain that they were too close to the mosque to get a good night's sleep.

This place is a godsend if you're trapped in Waisai. It's very basic (no hot water) but the electricity runs, the sheets are clean and the AC (if you want it) is strong.

We had an amazing time there. Food very good. The room had private toilet (PRIVATE TOILET! ). Everyone was very nice and we felt very good in general.

I really enjoyed my 3 days here. It was supposed to be just a few relaxing days at the end of my Raja Ampat trip (after Kri and Piaynemo Islands). But I was surprised how much you can do there.
