We booked this ecolodge for 4 nights but left after 2 because it was unsafe and unhygienic. The photos online are very misleading – in reality, several bungalows are broken or abandoned. We even heard from locals that a guest tragically died here when a tree fell on a bungalow during a storm.
The place felt extremely unsafe: bungalows are unstable, without proper doors or roofs, and move with the wind. The beds smelled of mould, made our skin itchy, and rats chewed holes in our bags after the first night.
This is one of the worst places we’ve stayed. It’s shocking that it remains open despite the serious safety concerns. Definitely not recommended.

Great place for nature lovers, nice beach and snorkeling right at the jungle. Only 3 bungalows, rather simple but with own shower and super nice views. Only jungle noises no road. The lunch and dinner is delivered from the village — very tasty home cooking. Relaced wibe. Reef is small but enough to snorkle for 2-3 days, turtles visit regularly and the mangrove nearby is very nice too. Simple, friendly and relaxed, no Wi-Fi, no loud music or karaoke. When we came the place was over booked tho we had reservation, but it wasno problem, we got offered a simple bunga with shared toilet with the staff at discount price and it was ok solution for us. I'd love to come again.

Great beach huts to relax and unwind without the noise and without internet access, that deserves a little bit of upkeep and work.
This is a magnificent location, with super kind staff and funky bungalows. The views from everywhere on the site are great, the beach is superb and the setup is quite nice.
The downside is that it lacks upkeep. Broken kayak, half of the huts are somewhat torn apart (unused) but still around with pieces of rusty metal and wood, semi comfortable hammocks and semi broken benches. With a little upkeep, this could be an AMAZING place to stay, but it remained a really good place!
