Nice hotel in colonial style with a very good looking garden. Breakfast is limited to the local taste. Good size rooms with decent standard.

This colonial style, old school hotel is very highly recommended if you love old school.
The staff here are mostly friendly and responsive. I have to mention the front office staff, Reno who is always smiling and very welcoming. He answered all sorts of questions from me and I really appreciate his customer service prprofessionalis.
The hotel is super clean but of course, being in SEA, expect some ants and maybe mozzies.
Room is large unlike new hotels. All the ground floor rooms has its cute porch with chairs & table.
Bed is medium hard, pillows fluffy and thick. AC and hot water heater works perfectly in Room 23. Need to wait for a couple of minutes for the water to warm up but it works. Not a complain from me but the towels provided are tired but they are clean.
There is a full wardrobe with hangers and shelves. Plenty space to store your stuff if you are staying longer than a night.
Other things provided are TV with local channels, kettle, free coffee, tea, bottled water, bedroom slippers, toothbrush, soap & shampoo. Big bonus is the mini fridge.
Location is good. 4 mins walk from the wet market, l0 mins from Imam Bonjol Park & 15mins from main shopping area.
My only issue is the wash basin, the water drains very slowly.
This is definitely the only hotel I need to experience in Padang and if I ever come back here, this is where I will stay.

This is definitely the only hotel I need to experience in Padang and if I ever come back here, this is where I will stay.
