It was amazing! The owner and all employees are so kind. The rooms are very clean and they helped me with all my questions (about tours ect. ) I had. Im travelling since three months and I was never in a better hostel than the second hope hostel!

The best hostel in Padang, with no exceptions. Philip and the whole team go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and are on hand to help you with anything you need. We stayed on and off for almost 2 weeks; Second Hope really felt like home from home for us. Cannot recommend this place enough for travellers to Padang — look forward to returning some day!

We stayed there after coming back from Mentawais. Amazing view over Padang and lovly crew & owner. Facilities were clean and the rooms are big. For sure the place to be in Padang! Thanks & keep going the good work.
