Excellent hotel definitely underrated. I stayed over a week the first time and swapped rooms twice. Both were super clean with very good air-conditioning and good shower pressure. Breakfast was tasty, extensive and lots of options from fruit /toast /eggs to most local breakfast dishes. Staff are a highlight, genuine warmth very friendly, knowledgeable and with excellent English skills. The restaurant offers excellent room service and is very reasonably priced. There's a small pool and some workout equipment, most nights the restaurant have a local duo who encourage you to karaoke, I offer no comment on my attempts. Good Wi-Fi and high tech check in, front desk etc.
Overall this is an excellent medium budget hotel worth more than its star rating.
I thoroughly recommend and will return.

I had a wonderful stay at Daima Hotel Padang and highly recommend it! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a very welcoming atmosphere that puts you right at ease. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel. The food is absolutely delicious, and what made it even better was the fantastic live band performing at night. It creates such a lively, relaxing, and enjoyable vibe to unwind after a long day. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive. I’m so happy I stayed here and would definitely return.
