There is no instructions on how to operate the air conditioning in the room. It seems to be stuck at 24 degrees somehow. Maybe this only happened in this bedroom. There is no instructions on how to operate the television either! The staff who brought our luggage up did not even come inside the bedroom to show us how these things work.
Most of all, this hotel being in the structure of an atrium, means the noise level from chattering guests outside is loud and the noise simply permeates through the walls and door that even the slightest laughters or chit chats could be heard in the bedroom!
The footsteps of guests outside the corridor can also be heard loud and clear!
If you’re a business traveler or anyone who’s looking for a quiet hotel bedroom to rest and relax, then you’re best to look elsewhere.
On the positive notes, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the bed is comfortable and the room is clean.
I’m not sure of the pricing structure of this hotel as I bought it as a package holiday but I would have certainly paid more for a better rest and sleep from the noise level after the long and tiring travels.

Hotel ini memiliki kamar deluxe yang bagus, serta variasi hidangan makanan yang banyak pilihannya. Disekitar lokasi terdapat toko-toko yang menjual jam tangan ataupun berbagai macam jenis tas.

Simple, clean, with kettle, hair dryer and hot shower. Quite a spread at breakfast. Exit via the restaurant at night and you see a very busy Chinese food street!

Not quite like the interior design. It dominan with black. The air conditioner temperature is not quite cold. You couldn't find a comb, cause they did not provide. You should bring your own. If you check in, you should deposit your money 300 thousand rupiahs per room. The breakfast menu didn't have variant menu, especially main course. And if you're muslim it's a bit hard to finding for halal menu in around the hotel.

The worst hotel in my opinion, we came to this hotel at 1.45pm and their check in hour is 2.00pm (according to the receptionist after I confirm it) they said we need to wait because the room still need to be clean up. That was at 2.00pm, then we decided to eat first and return to hotel at 2.30pm. After we return the same receptionist told us that the room still not ready (not even 1 room is ready) and still need to be clean up I asked them how long the clean up should be done and the receptionist say it only takes 30 min. Then I ask again we request the room at 2.00pm and it should be done now because it is 2.30pm. The receptionist talk to me that he just order request by now so the room should be ready at 3.00 pm I ask them then what they clean during 2.00pm till 2.30pm and they give an excuse that during that time there are lot of guess that do a late check out and they cannot clean at that time. Come on, I mean why you said that they already order clean up in 2.00pm while in fact they just did not do anything because “many guest do a late checkout) Not reccomended to stay in this hotel (In fact I think there is a lot better room and service for 3 star hotel in Medan) and definitely not coming back, thanks to your liar receptionist swissbelin hotel.

Great location, the hotel concept is great, and plenty of delicious breakfast. The tone color of the room is warm, mostly dark brown but I think it would be great if bathroom interior more bright. Thanks.

Good service, friendly people, strategic location, quick access to the city. Its just that there is one that bothered my mind at the time want to take food. Why meat pieces are too small. Wkwkwk sorry is only my Argument. But no problem for his overall service is quite satisfactory.

Location is good. Room and service is terrible. Been here a few times. Same problem happen again. Room moldy, aircon noisy and room is noisy. Hotel does not take note any request. Really bad service. Never want to step into that hotel again.

Cozy place to stay. They provide quite big room. Their location is quite strategic also. And they have connecting mini Mart at ground floor that so convenient if you need to buy some snack or other needs.

A nice budget hotel. Situated in the center of the city. Close to the train station, mall, and tourist attractions. Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is good with various menu. There is a minimarket down below. And the hotel also provided shuttle to some locations.

A very good hotel with very good breakfast and wonderful and helpful staff only I hate is the toilet. No water hose. Only water from toilet seat. And no hole at the toilet so water go out room and also slippery marble bathroom.

Well Done, the Location is Great and the price is great, you can just open the back door of hotel and you can find many street food (Selat Panjang) although the price is quite expensive but I still think it is worth it. And just few minutes to arrive big shopping mall in Medan and also some historical place. Really match my expectation.

Rooms look nice, but in all of them there is a strong smell of mold. We saw 3 different rooms, all of them had the same problem. It felt unhealthy to be in the room. Fortunately we just booked 1night. Besides the smell the rooms look nice, the breakfast is really overwhelming. And at night it is realy nice to eat outside in the surrounding streets. There is a constant traffic jam in front of the hotel. It takes seriously 30 minutes to get out of the street by car. So we suggest to walk a little to avoid this.

I have stayed at hotels all over the world and have never been met with such incompetent reception staff. When I tried to check in to a multiple room booking under a colleague's name, the staff were completely unwilling to help me check in due to hotel policy. Even when my colleague (whose name the rooms were booked under) called the hotel, they would not allow me to check in, but insisted we call Agoda to change the booking. Then after the booking had been amended and I showed them the updated reservation with my name, the hotel still wouldn't let me check in until it changed in their system. My experience with these kind of situations is that people can always help if they want to, but the staff here were completely unwilling to help or be flexible at all. Based solely on this, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for 10 night here. Great staff. Great security officer, helping to park my car. Try getting room x21-x25… Spacious.

Location in the city, convenient transportation, behind a number of small restaurants, not afraid of nothing to eat. This hotel features "black" mainly, walls, floors, and even storefront exterior walls, parts of the room wall is also black. Breakfast dishes are many, but "color fragrance" is not very good.

Good business hotel with a decent room. The great benefit of staying in this hotel is the prime location. Located near the middle of the city, it provides a good access to its surrounding. The restaurant is pretty good, with a good range of breakfast menu available served as a buffet. Note that the room does not offer any pretty sight due to its location. One of the benefit of staying in this hotel is the very quick access to the night market through the back door. The hotel is located besides a night market mostly filled with local restaurants that primarily opens at nights. It offers a wide range of Medan local cuisine. This place is perfect for those who loves to try local dishes.

Quiet but not spooky, clean sheats and toilet, all the employee are friendly, good taste breakfast, most important is side by side with grocery store.

The place is very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet is very good and the concierge is very responsive. A recommended place to stay at Medan.

Its easy for us to get almost everywhere in medan. Culinar is near by only walking to such famous selatpanjang and semarang night stall.

Nice place. Behind the hotel is the famous Jl. Selat Panjang, the food haven of dishes. So eating won't be a problem here. The breakfast menus are so various, and great taste too.

Good enough hotel for a business stay, with facilities on par with similar budget hotels in other cities. Wi-Fi was quite stable.

Located near to Selat Panjang street-food center. Affordable rate with good and clean room. Unfortunately no window view, everything is blocked by the next building. Convenient store available.

Location is great, close to center of chinese street food. The room was ok, the service just ok.

Overall nice. Breakfast set was superb. I will recommend to friends of mine. I will suggest if to request for best ever hotel in medan, then rather think twice do go for swiss belinn.

I stayed there for two nights on 21-23 January 2017, during my last breakfast I found three small pieces of acrylics in my pudding. I've reported this incident to the management but until today there is no good will to explain about the matter and to make a win-win solution.

Great hotel with nice rooms, spacy. Bathroom also nice, have great hot water Breakfast also great but the dining room not quite big, till I have to eat at the table in front of the lift. Noodle soup so delicious. And for omelet you should tell the chef without salt n pepper. Coz they will put it as default.

I love the hotel! So comfy for me, hope I can return again soon or I'll staying at another swiss belinn hotel.

Very near to the chinese food steet food… Value for money… As a 3 star hotel, the breakfast consider quite good. The room is clean. However the toilet is too dark. It should install brighter light.

Check in late for delaying flight. Pay for 1 nite since get twin bed, then when got in the room even more disapointing although it's consider to be my own fault, I didn't ask specifically for no smoking room. The smell for me annoying actually, but hv no choice, they claimed to be full. The next day, after b'fast, went to reception for extend n changing room. They told me they HAVE NO any room on my actual rate. The bigger room avail! It cost me almost double of the rate! A 4 star hotel failed to notify n reconfirm to their guest. Local hotel in anywhere can do that, why? Very disapointing!

Quite a decent hotel with the famous food street behind. Breakfast is pretty ok.

The room is very clean, and the bed is comfy to sleep on. You'll have a very good rest here. Beside that the place is very near with a culinary night market selat panjang, just walk through an alley a little to the left of the hotel.
