Monopoli Hotel Bukittinggi

This hotel is Near jam gadang and also very close to stasiun lambuang. I enjoy stay in this hotel. The breakfast is very delicious and the stafff here are friendly and nice. The lobby is very unique because of the old building. Overall staying in this hotel very recommended.

I recently stayed at Triple Three Hotel Bukittinggi and was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and overall experience. The room was very humid and smelled musty, making it uncomfortable to stay in. To make matters worse, I found an ant nest in the bathroom, and the towels provided were filthy and insufficient – only two towels were given instead of the expected two large and two small ones.
The condition of the room was unacceptable; it felt old and not well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast experience was very poor. Despite paying an extra IDR 120K, the food ran out quickly and there was no attempt to refill it even after I requested. The food that was available was not tasty at all.
Overall, my stay at Triple Three Hotel Bukittinggi was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and pleasant stay.

Best location and architecture!
Located in the heart of Bukittinggi, the hotel enabled its guests to conveniently explore the city centre, especially Jam Gadang (just opposite of the hotel) and Istana Bung Hatta (behind the hotel). The Anai Bar has a beautiful outlook of Singgalang Mountain.
The hotel was built in a mix of Moorish and Minangkabau architecture which amplified my experience of staying in this hotel since I'm an architecture enthusiast.
The room was a bit old and exhausted. I think with a little bit of renovation, the hotel would definitely have won another star for this review.

My room had a panoramic view of Mount Marapi.
Within walking distance of all things to see and experience in Bukittinggi.
Staff were enthusiastic and helpful.

This is the second time I have stayed here with my family. Nothing has changed about this hotel except the name has changed. The facilities and services remain the same as before, complete facilities both in the rooms and bathrooms, including the swimming pool and spa or gym. The staff are also friendly and responsive. For breakfast the food is delicious and varied. Kid friendly, but access for disabled people, especially wheelchairs, is difficult. One thing that might be annoying for me is the music corner in the restaurant bar. Maybe because it's a holiday or something. Turning on music and singing after the evening break is disturbing in my opinion or the room is not soundproof so it is noisy. But overall I like it, the parking area is quite spacious and the hotel is strategic near the market.

One of my dream comes true to stay in this hotel. The building is beautiful and authentic. The room is very comfy although a little bit old. We came in Friday and the receptionist allowed us to check in even before 12am. The location is in the heart of Bukittinggi, less than 5 minutes walking to Jam Gadang, and the nearby attractions. The breakfast is good and varies. I wish I could back again to stay in this hotel one day.

I and my husband really love the building and the architecture. I went here several times lone time ago and the place mainly still look the same. Its giving the antique and unique vibe cause it really is an old building with foreign style and it’s nothing like any other hotel in the town. The room was okay, really clean, pretty comfy in my opinion.

Good location. Area for improvement:
Very very slow service at the egg station for breakfast. The staff looks like she really not happy to be stationed there and shows her irritation when we follow up on our order. Quality of omelette and the sunny side eggs seriously need improvement. Karaoke too loud. Can be heard loudly even at level 3. Could not get peaceful and quiet sleep after a long tiring day…

Good n nice resort for a quick getaway.
