Quiet rooms, nice lounge with live music, just OK breakfast, walking distance to local culinary stands.

Not so great experience. Rooms were too noisy specially in night, loud music whole night can't let you sleep. Rest like location, food, cleanliness, room facilities are OK but not upto a 4 star hotel.

Overall. Perfect. Nice, clean, good service.

Maybe little dissapointed coz the room we booked the ac not cold, need more improvement from service.

5 stars for the amazing service! Went there for yum cha with my family, ordered so much food. Was pretty good except the fried taro (talas). It was mushy and salty, so we didn't finish it. The waitress approached us and asked why. Then we told her. Unexpectedly, she came back with a serve of pudding as an apology. Thumbs up. Not many other place care about their customer's satisfaction this much.

Semua kualitas Aston ada disini, kecuali lokasinya yang again masuk ke dalam pasar. Tapiii, masih bisa menjangkau tempat-tempat makan dan ngopi di sekitarnya dg berjalan kaki. Harga kamar terjangkau dengan kualitas menginap yang baik serta pelayanan yang baik juga. Fasilitas hotel juga cukup lengkap. Hair dryer di kamar perlu menghubungi petugas. Enjoy!

Hotelnya lumayan Tp udah tuwa. Perlu di perbaiki banyak. Toilet di lobby nya udah ga spt hotel berbintang Yg aku paling nyesel Book executive. Bayangannya dapet pemandangan bagus Ternyata ga ada pemandangan. Lihat lift doang.

"Dark, dreary and oudated" Chrome decor went out in the 1980s. Poor and unhealthy western breakfast selection. Room ac noisy at night. Pillows uncomfortable. Bathroom lighting poor. Limited and expensive drinks selection Overall… Poor value for money.

Been to the bar, the moods feels good, the drinks taste not bad, just a little bit overpriced.

Spacious room, and good breakfast. Also, the staffs are friendly and very helpfull. But I think the hotel need more lighting to brighten up the not so new building. Also need more ligthing in the bathroom, it's kind of dark in it.

I understand that this is one of the best hotels in Pontianak. The hotel offered everything that I needed for a short weekend holiday. The location is good. The staffs are friendly and helpful, speak good English. I like the breakfast buffet although the food is largely of Indonesian cuisine. I tried Chinese restaurant in the hotel and was happy with the food. Near the hotel there, just around a corner with very short walk, is also a popular seafood restaurant which can be a good dinner option. My room is okay although I did not like that it does not have window facing outside and the toilet is a bit dark. But overall I was happy staying at this hotel.

A good hotel in Pontianak. If you do holiday with your family or friends, you can book some room in this hotel. They have a good room service. This hotel is near a big ones hotel, Transera hotel.

Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is about 150m away from the main street, thus it is a peaceful place to stay in. Facilities they have gym, Karaoke (lvl 2), Spa (lvl 3) and if you are the guest from the hotel, you can get 20% off voucher for the spa from the hotel's front desk. They serve decent food in their hotel (Dynasty Restaurant), they have chinese, western and lots more to order from. Conditions of the room are quite well maintain, nothing much to highlight.

My first time, since three years ago, staying at this hotel. It's a bit outdated, they need to improve the maintenance at the hotel. The shower drain was clogged. Request for non smoking and extra bed during reservation, buy wasn't prepare, so we didn't get the non smoking room. Other than that, it was good, large selection of breakfast.

Location nearby local street food for both breakfast and dinner as well (walking distance). Should have my breakfast outside the hotel and try the food which seem quite interesting.

The room are good, the hotel also, but what is the 1st mission of 1 hotel, its to let you sleep in peace. But in Aston its not possible, there is 1 loundge open until 4am with loud music, I could not sleep well during 3 days, if you are looking for quiet place, try another one.

Smart modern hotel in Pontianak, overnight stay was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Only problems were room service arrived and was like warm which was not good. And despite being numberous small bottles of water provided in the room I mistakenly opened a large bottle and was charged an exorbitant minibar price, but I had left the small bottles untouched.

My 529 room: The moment I enter the room, the smell is awfull… as I am too tired to move, I did not ask for a new room. Then I noticed the ticking noise. The AC is leaking. The water kept coming out and running all the way down to the luggage rack. I just did not want to make any complaint as was too tired already. I just moved my luggage and bag in higher table to avoid any surprises in the morning. Breakfast items are too boring. Presentation just in a pile … not interesting. It is time to think about plating…

Very nice hotel. Staff are very helpful. The room is clean and spacious. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast are enjoyable. They provide western and Indonesian menu. You won't be regret stay in Aston Pontianak.

I hope the general manager of this hotel reads this. I plead you. Please employ a certified hospitality graduates or at least improve their skills. My family stayed for 4 nights and attended an event held at your hotel ballroom in early March and the service given was beyond appalling. During the dinner my father requested some glasses to pour beer. Do you know what your waitress told him? "Finish your water and use that glass". We were absolutely dumbstruck and my father asked her which school she went. She turned red, laughed nervously and just left. The captain named Mul Yono didn't help much either. He just ignored everything the whole time and pretended nothing ever happened. I also can't apprehend how the management just decided to have rooms facing the void of the lounge area, put a loud noisy jazz band that plays until midnight, and not even applying soundproof window on these rooms? The ventilation noise on 5th floor is also as loud as a sound of trailer passing by, and that goes on 24 hours a day. All of us changed our rooms on the very next day and still despite of the new rooms facing outside we could still hear the band played. Just because you are located right bang in the middle of the city doesn't mean that your hotel deserves even a 3 star rating. Oh and just for a note, please ask your chef to choose fresh seafood to serve next time. They smelled rotten and no one dared enough to eat.

This hotel is new and clean. But some room (have a inner side window) is very noisy : — ( So don't forget to request quite room.

Good food. Good bedroom. Everything is good.
