Been here 3 times now. Was there for the first time in 2004. Had a good impression of the hotel classic designs, the hotel name itself (Inna Garuda, stuck in my mind since then) and of course the breakfast served then. There was an array of local food nicely presented on its own dedicated area. The food where placed in a traditional manner inside a woven basket underline with banana leafs. The local breakfast was delicious so was the continental breakfast. Came back to Inna Garuda in 2016 and noticed the breakfast layout and menu has changed and not as good as before. Back again last week from 25 to 28 July 2018. Breakfast standard has dropped tremendously and not s good as it was in 2004. Ordinary I should say. Otherwise, the stay there is good because of the friendly, helpful and efficient staff.

Old fashioned hotel but well-maintained. Perfect for vacation since the hotel is located in the middle of Malioboro for your shopping experience and just a couple minutes walk from train station. They have some spacious halls for meeting and big parking lots. And the staffs were friendly also. You could find some vintage decorated walls around the lobby area for satisfying your inner tourists self.

Great hotel in Malioboro. If you're looking for a place to stay near Malioboro, try this one. This is the biggest hotel in Malioboro area. The services are good, the price and breakfast are ok. One surprising thing about this hotel is they don't have password for their Wi-Fi but the internet is quite fast. Oh, and you should definitely try the welcome drink! I think it was syrup and ginger.

A very large spacious hotel right on the main malioboro street, walking distance to the local market and train station, great location for those who want to explore the legendary malioboro streets. One could say this hotel has aged but still in very good maintenance. Breakfast menu are ok had very large variety of food, drink, local and international dishes.

Previously, the service was excellent but now is slightly drop. Before, the restaurant used to to serve nice foods but not now. Unbelievable to order a plate of steak it takes hours. I hope the manager has to do something about it. From Inna Garuda changed the name to Grand Inna supposed to be better but it getting downward. Without fail every time when I visited Jogjakarta I always think of Inna garuda but for now, my next visit to Malioboro I have to think of another hotel. Sorry, I have to be frank about it.

First I want to say the location is strategic, in famous Malioboro street and easy to acces St. Tugu. I also like the service. Everything is really excellent. They also had a outdoor dinner program (I post the picture).

Good services. Good and friendly Staff. Nice place. Spacious parking area. Strategic location. Affordable prices. Breakfast is varied. Swimming pool on the 3rd floor.

This hotel is great luxury. Name it. You can find cozy place, cozy atmosphere, Javanese heritage, great services, complete facilities, large parking area, strategic place, strategic accomodation etc. Great and recommended.

Hotel ini dulu dikenal dengan nama Inna Garuda. Tempatnya strategis banget, deket denfan stasiun tugu Jogja, dan langsung menghadap ke jalan Malioboro. Hotel ini kelihatan sekali kalo memang hotel berkelas, dari sajian buffet nya pun dapat kelihatan bedanya dengan hotel2 lain yang sekelas. Menu2 nya banyak menyajikan sajian khas jogja dan rasanya pun enak. Areakir mobilnya pun cukup luas, sehingga tidak perlu khawatir kehabisan. Hotel ini juga pas banget utk wisatawan yang ingin merasakan suasana Malioboro malam hari yang seru dan Malioboro pagi yang syahdu sekaligus dinamis.

A good hotel may be because its location is in the middle of the city and strategic, the service is also very friendly and very satisfactory, the infrastructure is complete, but the room as there is less, less well maintained and need to rejuvenate the room seems…

Good hotel, great facilities and well known for the money changer… Gives good rates den market…

Good hotel to stay. Excellent location in Yogyakarta. Heritage hotel preserved. The foods are not so nice but still ok. You will see this hotel as an old hotel with old school facilities. But still this is a good hotel to stay.

Located in a very strategic street, right in the well known Malioboro street. One of the oldest hotel in Indonesia. Very nice and many meeting rooms. Good food and beverages, cozy beds.

Staffnya ramah. Mulai dari yang jaga pos parkir sampai reception. Hotelnya terkenal banget for years. Sekarang makin keren, banyak spot foto dan pastinya nyaman utk stay di Jogja. Malemnya tinggal jalan2 sepanjang Malioboro. Dijamin memorable.

Price talk. Ahahah. Nice experience here. Also many food booth or stall around malioboro street.

It's a good hotel and cozy place for travellers who seek some history of Jogja and it's strategic for going around the city.

Quite good although the carpet was full of dust, but the rest is fabulous, but the view outside the room wasn't that great.

One the oldest and classic hotel. In Yogyakarta. I really enjoyed my stay here. Elegant building with courteous staff. I like the restaurant with big capacity. Food choice is also excellent. Another thing that I like is that I can easily get around the Maliobori street and the Sultan Palace by using the becak.

Good place to stay. The staffs is so friendly. Delicious food and places at the center of Malioboro Street. You can reach Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station by walking least than 10 minutes.

We always stay at Inna Garuda when we go to Yogya. Friendly staffs, clean rooms, breakfast taste good. The location in easy to find at the famous street in Yogya, Malioboro.

Nice hotel! It's old, we'll, it's historic, so things could be a little more modern, but the beds are nice, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good. Easy to reach by plane or train, and close to a lot of fun activities.

Well situated at the heart of Yogyakarta. A few meters from Yogyakarta railway station, about 1 km from Sultan Palace. The hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Indonesia, and has historical values.

Lokasi sangat strategis, pelayanannya juga bagus.

Kemaren waktu Penyegaran Duta Sanitasi, gue stay di sini. Sumpah seru abis! Awalnya gue kira itu kayak hotel2 jadul gitu ya. Eh taunya elit maan. Di lobinya banyak lukisan2 jaman kemerdekaan gitu, cuma kerenan lah. Enak dah pokoknyaaa, pengen lagiiiiii :") Ohiya, gue met-up sama Fakhri di sini nih :D.

Sangat nyaman, menu makan beragam. Saran buat inna : ditambah fasilitas peminjaman sepeda / motor.
