Andrea Hotel

I stayed here because it is located only 80m from Gambir train station & 5 minute walk to Malioboro Street. Tucked away down an alleyway filled with small accommodation establishments & restaurants.
Sammy (I assumed the owner) was friendly & helpful.
My room was basic but everything worked fine. The bed had clean linens and afforded me a comfortable sleep.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

The room is clean, and the location is very close to malioboro, etc. I also like the vibes the hotel gave, nice lighting and interior. It feels like sleeping in family house. The price is cheap regarding the location and service the hotel gave. I will visit this hotel again if I come to Jogja for sure.

Stayed here 1 night. Great location and friendly helpful staff. Downside is theres no blanket… just a very thin sheet. When requested they said they don't provide. Room cold with air conditioning on but too hot if air conditioning off. Never seen a hostel/guest house with no blanket before and ive.

We jumped off the train and wandered down the alley because it has a bunch of places to stay. Noticed people out on the veranda and decided to stay here for 3 nights. Location is perfect. Walked most of the time to different shops and restaurants. The service was outstanding. Staff very attentive and friendly. Yes there is no window or hot water in the room. But Yogyakarta is so hot you don’t need hot water. Hot water is for the weak! I loved the veranda the best. Able to people watch and talk to other guests. The veranda is a great hangout spot.

Rare thing to appreciate, they rent out a bedroom inside a house and surprisingly the room is not humid, no fungus or damp smell, there is exhaust fan in the toilet, room lighting is warm and comfortable (no plain white lamp), bed is nice with clean sheets. The host is very chill, and informative. The area is in the middle of everything.

Such a convenient location, across from the Tugu railroad station, in a very quiet and picturesque alley, and a great little restaurant down the alley.
Rooms are basic, but the hotel has a little patio on the alley where you can have a beer and connect online. Very friendly staff. Walking distance to everything that matters: the super helpful Tourist Information center, the bus stops and the Keaton and Water Castle.

Cozy place near station, the location is very strategic. You have to walk your bike through alley. The room is clean. Near there are masjid 80 m to south. The bed are clean but they didn't offer blanket. The room and bathroom are clean. No ac only fan.

This hotel is comfortable, clean, friendly staff, clean room with AC and TV cable. The hotel have a mini library, most of the books are old books from the Dutch Colonial period. And this hotel position is near to Malioboro, only 2 minutes walk.
