Farmstay Manangel

There's no words to describe my stay in Farmstay Manangel. This little farmstay is run by three amazing human beings along the best Ibu. It was inspiring sharing time with this little big team, witnessing the good impact on their community and being able to learn from sundanese culture, farm and jungle knowledge. The meals are delicious and of course km0. The room has enormous bed with mosquito net and a cozy rest area.
Thank you for these funny days and music lessons! I'm really thankful for meeting you and looking forward to meet you again! I wish all you the best!

I had a delightful time at Ari and Uyung's farm, enjoying their hospitality and the company of the local villagers. The local cuisine was a true delight, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The warmth of the community and the flavors of the local food made this visit truly special. Had a lovely experience at the Farmstay Manangel. 3 hard working sweet friends manage this Farmstay and you can tell they do it with love. Don’t expect luxury but in my opinion that was part of the Indonesian experience. Good Indo food for a very affordable price and it’s so nice waking up in a lush green forest.

I had a wonderful stay at Farmstay Manangel. Nestled in the lush nature, in a lovely village amongst the rice paddy fields, the jungle, swimming pools and water falls, it is a wonderful spot. What makes it even more special is the warmth and kindness of the hosts who welcome you as family. I highly recommend!

Farmstay Manangel was such an incredible time with Hari, Uyung and Ari. We shared many delicious Indonesia meals, shared language, culture and stories. Highly recommend! Can't wait to see them all again sooner than later.

Farmstay Manangel gives me different experiences for stay. If you like peaceful, nature, local tradition, and simplicity, I would recommend you to stay here. The room is simple and traditional, It's only IDR 200-250k per-night. The owner was very welcome with the guest. It feel like I am part of family in here. They feed me local food and eat together with other guests. They also offer me for village walking tour, farming some tropical fruits and I paid 80k for this package. The local was very friendly. I might back to this place someday, really good for heal and avoid crowded.

So much fun, in a nice friendly, cheerful atmosphere!
We spent 2 nights there, climbing the killer steep last stretch on our bikes after a hot day ride.
Ari and Uyung are great hosts, fun, welcoming and joyful.
The premises are quite countryside style which there is no surprise from the name.
We slept in a large tent below an additional roof to protect from the strong sunshine. For those who know camping, one can't stay in a tent during a hot day. At night, the fresh air was delightful, natural AC, so much more enjoyable!
We had 2 great dinners with great food.
We also had a nice, quiet hike around in the steep hills. Was quite hot, so we enjoyed arriving at a pool to refresh and have lunch. Lots of nature discoveries on the way.

One of my best experiences in Indonesia. I was allowed to spend two weeks on the farmstay with the most wonderful, funny and admirable people.
Its a unusual place to stay… in a rather rural area, not very touristy (that makes it even more special). You learn a lot about their way of life, the language and of course the food. Wonderful dishes are cooked on the farmstay and sometimes served traditionally on a palm leaf. You sit together in the cozy hut and make music, sing or play games. The cultural exchange is guaranteed here because the guys put in an incredible amount of effort to enable every guest to have a wonderful and great experience. And all this on a small farm on a hill in Cianjur.
