Green Forest Resort & Wedding Bandung

Do not dine at the restaurant. The food really takes very very long to be served. The waiter did not remember our customized order and overpromised that our requests can be accepted. Price is not cheap.
Food reviews:
1) rawon — it does not taste like rawon and the soup is super salty, we had to request to top up hot water to dilute the soup to be more edible.
2) soup iga — the ribs were RANCID and not fresh at all. It’s got very bad smell which ruined our appetite. We sent back the 3 bowls that we ordered.
We suspect that the old chef has left, because it used to be an okay place.
If we could we would have given this place 0 star. Not recommended.

A very nice hotel for our dept outing program. The hospitality & service are above my expectation. Delicious breakfast with additional sigature coffee which is rare to find. Beautiful mountains view for anyone who wants to enjoy the scenery. Next time I need to visit this hotel with my family.

There are so many places here with beautiful views. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of all.
But if you want to stay in a nice place you have to try this one.
The food area is big and they serve so many tasty dishes 😋

I stayed at deluxe C. It was 4 star experience for me.
The room is not too soundproofed, we could still hear loud noises coming from other rooms. And If you "believe" that having to sleep near bamboo trees is not your thing, then I recommend to search other room available.
The breakfast is okay, mainly Indonesian food.
Your kids going to love to be in here. Many activities that you/your kids can do such as horse riding, feeding rabbits and fishes, etc.

We attended an outdoor standing wedding here. The venue had a very spacious garden area decorated with scrubbery and beautiful garden lights. It also had a roofed area to set the food. The hotel-provided food was not their strong point, so if you're hosting an event here, you could consider hiring an external vendor to add more types of food.

The hotel in over all is clean, green and relax. It's a perfect place either you stay there alone, like me or with the family. The garden and seating area are a perfect place to read a book, or bonding with your loved ones. The food was tasty and had enough variety to choose from. Ms Muslika gave me a great service whenever I had some questions or to meet my needs. The rooms were clean. The first night, I stayed at the glamping room. It was a quiet room where you can hear the water from the stream. Well, for a solo traveller, it was too big, it is suitable for a family of 3 or 4. It didn't have a hot water for a shower, unfortunately. On the 2nd night, I stayed at the Deluxe room and I was happy that I could have a good long hot shower. The down side staying in this room was, the sound from the mosques were just too much for me. It was a holy month for the Muslim, so they will start the prayer and chanting from a very early morning, calling out people to wake up and in the evening will stop right before 9 pm. I had to put my earplugs so I can read my book, peacefully.
Over all, it was a good place to stay if you don't mind with the sound from the mosques.
