Ruths Bed & Breakfast

We had an amazing time visiting Bandung from Australia for the first time. Our stay at Ruth's was truly enjoyable. Gabby, our friendly host, made us feel welcome and even cooked a fantastic meal for us. The best part was waking up to a lovely breakfast set up on the deck, overlooking the valley. We also appreciated that the accommodation was eco-friendly, avoiding plastic and following sustainable practices. If you're looking for a unique, relaxed, and non-touristy experience, Ruth's is a great choice. Thank you for having us.

Very nice location at Lembang. In the beginning, we distract by the dark light as we came in the night. But, immediately change in the morning since we can see whole location by the morning sun. Surprisingly, there's a perfect view with beautiful villa design. Just want to lay down & enjoy the view for a day.
Good breakfast service with delicious Omelet eggs. Definitely we will comeback.

We booked for 3 people but at the last minute a 4th person decided to come, but they provided an extra bed. Tasty Indonesian and Western breakfast (you can choose), lovely room with eclectic design, comfortable beds and blankets, amazing view of the mountains and the city from our room and the dining hall. Coffee, tea, sugar, drinking water, soap and shampoo are provided. A microwave and a water heater jug is available for use. Water heater in the shower works fine even though you do have to wait for a few minutes until the water heats up. A VERY cute and fluffy Alaskan Malamute named Monroe is a highlight of our stay — we loved playing with her. Overall a very pleasant stay. Ruth even gave us an orchid plant as a souvenir!

Finally found my comfort nest in bandung! nothing fancy but the view and the home is amazing. Somehow I imagine sitting on the site albaycin and looking at the hill of alhambra. For the one who like independently manage themselves, this is the place. You can enjoy the fresh air and take a walk to the nearby restaurant of kampung daun which basically you don’t need to go to the city centre and just enjoying the view and fresh air. Some given situations like noise by motorcycle and others are not comfortable. That would be perfect if the management make it more neat and cleaner. The maid was an excellent cook! for the one who doesn’t prefer dog, it might uncomfortable because he is moving around and looking for foods. The rest are perfect!

Positive: The host, ibu Ruth was exceptionally nice and generous, her husband is also very helpful and very fast to help when we had Wi-Fi connection issues. The room is gorgeous with green scenery and open air, took lots of nice photos here. Bed also comfy and clean. Clean towels, soap and shampoo are provided. Breakfast was also very delicious and was served in open air space with a remarkable lembang view. Also, it is only like 15 mins walking or 5 mins drive to kampung daun restaurant. Negative: The only downside is we cannot have hot water for shower late at night, as water heater was solar powered and must have been used up by others before us. But in the morning, we can have hot water shower.
