We extended our stay for another night. When we returned, the room hadn't been cleaned. When we informed reception we were told would have to wait and don't know how long cuz there are no more cleaning staff. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told I cannot. So I took charge and told the 3 staff sitting there doing nothing to go and clean the room. It would have been nice if they had shown initiative rather than giving fake smiles and saying there is nothing they can do.
The hotel’s location is still fairly good, although the road leading to it is a bit congested. The parking area is spacious.
I received an upgraded room with a double bed, and the view from the room was very beautiful (my room type had a balcony).
From the balcony, I could see Mount Salak on the left side and a green nature view on the right side.
The room cleanliness was good, and the amenities were sufficient.
The breakfast menu leaned heavily towards Arabian-style dishes.
What was very disappointing:
The restaurant staff were extremely unfriendly. When we finished breakfast, there was no greeting at all even though we walked past two staff members.
The lobby security was not helpful at all. During checkout, I was carrying one suitcase and several bags. My car stopped at the lobby, and the security did not greet, assist, or offer any help. This is something I have never experienced at other hotels.
It was very disappointing.

My stay at The Grand Hill was very disappointing. I paid 950, 000 (with 200, 000 as a deposit), which is quite expensive, but the service did not match the high price at all.
There were no slippers provided in the room. The bathroom water was cut off, which is completely unacceptable. Some of the staff had an unfriendly and unprofessional attitude.
For breakfast, you are only allowed to choose one menu item, and if you want anything extra, you must pay additional charges. For such a high price, at least a proper and reasonable breakfast should be included.
In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced and provides poor service. I hope the management seriously improves their standards.
