Damar Langit Resort

Overall, I had a great experience staying at Damar Langit Hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the room was spotless and well maintained. I got a room with an amazing view, and honestly, it felt like a great deal for the price. The view was definitely one of the highlights of my stay and made everything feel worth it.
That said, the hotel is unfortunately not very elderly-friendly. Even though they provide a shuttle, access to some rooms especially those with higher views still requires a lot of walking. For elderly guests or those with leg or back problems, this could be quite challenging. I wouldn’t recommend choosing upper-view rooms for seniors.
Breakfast was another mixed experience. The view during breakfast was great, and there were many food options available, but the taste itself was quite underwhelming. It was complete, but the flavors could definitely be improved.
On the positive side, there are many fun activities around the hotel, like a shooting range, which was really enjoyable. There’s also a Chinatown-style area at the top that adds a unique and cute experience. The staff were generally friendly as well.
However, I did face a serious issue with internet connectivity. The signal in the area was very weak, so I relied fully on the hotel Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi in my room wasn’t working properly and couldn’t connect to any of my devices.

A beautiful place with a great view from the Cafe/Restaurant. I highly recommend visiting this place to have a coffee or eat while enjoying the view.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I recommend getting your personal driver with you if you are a visitor as it is difficult to find grab or get a taxi from this location.

Rooms were EXCELLENT. Very huge and comfortable, shower (and hairdryer! ) and ameneties are great. There are a microwave and sink in the room. You can just stay in the room/glamping to enjoy the view and order room service (but I haven't tried this, though I noticed there were no wired phones/intercom in the room, so no idea how to call them to order). They also provides lots of activities in hotel area with additional fees like trekking, archery, shooting range etc.
However, since it's located on a quite steep slope, it's quite a journey in itself to just reach the room, even after they dropped you off using hotel shuttle. After they droppes you off, you'll need to climb or to decent stone stairs and walk hundreds of meters of footpath to reach your room or glamping. Please note that it's very not suitable for disabled or wheelchairs or small children (esp those still needed to be carried or still love running around). Even your luggages will need to be shouldered /carried by hand by the hotel porters/bellboys (they broke my Lojel luggage handle fyi and still no apologies or any kind of compensation till today).
The worst part of my visit was the TRAFFIC. It's located quite far from the main Puncak road, about 3-4 km through small less-than-2-cars road. And yet they somehow informed us that it was okay to use medium buses to get there (while it should be only Hiace or APV's).
