Basically average. I’ve stayed at InterContinental Jakarta and had an amazing experience there, regularly have dinner/lunch at one of their restaurants also, even though it’s near my house and I had zero expectations. I’ve also stayed at a few other InterContinental properties overseas, so I had high expectations based on their usual service standards.
Stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights.
Unfortunately, this hotel was definitely below what I’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was quite mid, and it wasn’t particularly clean. I noticed a few brown stains on the glass desk table and the sink countertop (yikes! 🥹)
We also returned to the hotel one night after being out all day and found that the towels hadn’t been replaced. They were also inconsistent with the in room bottled water. On the first day, we got only three bottles, and the next day it was only one or two.
The service was nice and the staff were friendly. The location was great, I loved being surrounded by nature and the breakfast selection was quite excellent.
Overall, the hotel is very kids friendly, and that’s probably its strongest point. Just don’t expect too much 😅

Fantastic family staycation with great views and spacious rooms!
​We had a wonderful family stay at the InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar. If you are traveling with kids, this hotel is an absolute gem. The outdoor area is fantastic—there is plenty of space for the children to run around, and they absolutely loved the kids' pool and the weekend activities (the inflatable slide on the lawn was a huge hit! ).
​Our room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and spacious, featuring massive floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a stunning, peaceful view of the golf course and the city layout below. The beds provided a great night's sleep, and the entire layout felt premium yet functional for a family. The staff were warm, attentive, and very welcoming to the kids. We will definitely be back for another relaxing getaway!

Our wonderful experience began the moment we checked in, thanks to the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality from InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar staff, especially Monicha. She was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and to make my birthday even more special, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Junior Suite — which I absolutely loved! This was actually our third stay here, and every visit has consistently been a pleasant and memorable experience.
The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need — and even more. From complete toiletries to a coffee machine with capsules and a selection of tea, every detail made our stay extra comfortable. Honestly, the room and hotel facilities were so enjoyable that we barely felt the need to go outside.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection was extensive and delicious, offering both Indonesian and Western dishes. We also appreciated that there were two egg stations, which kept the queues manageable. Every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Because of the consistently outstanding service and overall experience, InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar remains our top choice whenever we visit Bandung, even with so many new hotels emerging in the city.

An exceptional luxury hotel with breathtaking views of Bandung from the hills. The room is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with large windows overlooking the city and nature—perfect for relaxation. The ambiance is calm and exclusive, ideal for a getaway or special occasion.
The staff are extremely professional, warm, and attentive, making the stay feel truly five-star from check-in to check-out. Breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality options with great taste. The facilities, including the pool and spa, are well-maintained and add to the overall experience.
The location in Dago Pakar is peaceful and refreshing, away from the city crowd but still accessible. Overall, a memorable stay with excellent service, stunning views, and top-tier comfort. Worth every moment.

This hotel is very decent, proper, and perfect for a family trip. I went there with my husband and child for a weekend getaway and felt very satisfied — we will definitely come back. It’s located in the Dago Pakar area, which is quiet, and offers many facilities that support family activities, especially for children, making our stay very comfortable. The staff are all extremely friendly, especially with our child. A luxurious yet comfortable experience here. 💯

Service level become worst.
I stay at hotels frequently, but this Christmas stay was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had here. The hospitality was unacceptable for a 5‑star hotel—especially the unprofessional response from the receptionist on December 23rd.
I booked 2 premium twin rooms. The floor was uneven, and shockingly, my father’s foot was injured by a nail sticking out of the room floor. I had already requested a room change before the incident, but the receptionist showed zero empathy and simply said other rooms were “upgrades” or “fully booked. ”
After the nail incident, I called 3 times asking for an update, yet no one bothered to follow up.
We were forced to stay in that room and wait for a technician to remove the nail.
During checkout on the 24th, the same receptionist offered nothing but a meaningless “sorry, ” with no responsibility taken at all.
After years of staying here with nice experience, this has now become the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had.
We will not be returning.

Our New Year holiday with the family was truly delightful. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the room overlooking the golf course set the perfect tone for a joyful start to our vacation.
At night, the breathtaking view of Bandung city lights created a memorable atmosphere, especially while enjoying my favorite book.
I highly recommend having dinner at TIAN JING LOU Restaurant. The stunning view from the 18th floor, the delicious food, and the excellent service completed our holiday experience. Special thanks to Ms. Ratna and Ms. Tia for their wonderful hospitality—their recommendations were always spot on. Great job!

Perfect destination for family staycation and short relaxing getaways. Awesome view from room and practically all around the hotel. All the staff are also very friendly and overall provided great service. Room and facilities are superb, including gym and spa. Will definitely come back again.
Another recommended to-do is the photography service from Lyfe Photography inside the hotel. Great photo session resulting in lovely family photos. Tips: plan and prepare matching family outfits for the session.

We had a truly wonderful staycation with my wife and our 5-year-old daughter. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious with a beautiful view, and the bathroom featured a bathtub, which was a big highlight for our daughter and made her stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel is very family-friendly, offering plenty of kids’ activities, a well-equipped playroom, and a spacious outdoor playground. Our daughter had an amazing time exploring and playing, which allowed my wife and me to relax and fully enjoy the experience as well.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options and taste good.

An excellent place for a getaway with family and children. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Staff members were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The location made it easy to explore the area, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Overall, it was a relaxing, hassle-free experience—highly recommend.

We were welcome with friendly and helpful staffs. The room was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was good too. And surprisingly the pool is not cold despite the cooling weather here. Mostly, we love the nature location. Enjoying the green view and the sound of birds chirping in the morning by the pool was so relaxing.

The receptionist named Dandy was very friendly and extremely helpful. For the lady working at the restaurant (whoever she is) your service was excellent. It was also unexpected and impressive that when we were heading out around 11 PM, a buggy driver approached us and asked if we needed a ride to the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, I forgot your name, but your initiative truly deserves appreciation. 0
Overall, everything was great except for the toilet area. When I first entered/ the room and checked the bathroom, there were tissues left behind and the glass door was dirty. It was quite disappointing, considering the service provided was very good, but the cleanliness did not meet the same standard.

Great hospitality, lots of kids activities. Got kids club, on the weekends there's ATV and horse riding. The room is huge and clean. The restaurant staff are nice especially ms. Kayla who helps us alot and entertain the kids. Overall will come back again when we visit bandung!
