The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s close to a mall and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops, making it very convenient for both dining and daily needs.
The check-in process was slower than expected. Only two staff members were handling the front desk, resulting in a fairly long queue. Another staff member eventually joined, but only after the guest ahead of me had already finished checking in. The actual check-in itself was straightforward and only took a few minutes; the delay mainly came from waiting in line.
I was also surprised that the hotel still requires a deposit of IDR 300, 000 upon check-in, which is becoming less common these days.
Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable damp smell. I had to turn on the air conditioning immediately to help get rid of the odor. The first set of towels also had a slightly sour smell, which wasn’t very pleasant.
Housekeeping could be more thorough. The bathroom didn’t feel fully cleaned, and the toilet paper had not been refilled before my arrival.
The TV is not a smart TV, so entertainment options are quite limited. If you’re planning a staycation, don’t expect to spend the evening watching Netflix or streaming your favorite shows.
