Kastuba Resort

From the lobby to the room we using car from the resort. It's a beautiful view in everywhere. You should bring shoes or sneaker so You can do jogging or do any sports in Katsuba area. But what a pity, I spend about three days here but they (the resort) never reload our mineral water. That's why I took one star from them to be concern for the owner.

The resort is old but great view! Really enjoy the view and the service, we got breakfast at room with menu by choices.
Sadly the bathroom wasn’t so clean, has some insects when we arrives. Others are great. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice cottage resort with forest feels. Trekking on the site is not hard though you will need good sandals tp avoid slippery after rain.

A 3 night stay at Kastuba after leaving a noisy, dirty hotel in Central Lembang.
We stayed in one of the family rooms (1 dbl, 1 sgl bed). Comfortable, clean and quiet! It was nice to wake up to the sounds of nature rather than to try and sleep against the deafening sound of motorbikes.
The grounds are lovely to walk around and very well-kept.
Staff all friendly and helpful. We had breakfasts and evening meals brought to us so we could eat on the terrace in front of our room.
Good value for money and very relaxing.
One criticism — the Wi-Fi was hopeless.

Everything is very nice here! Great houses, services, and beautiful gardens. However they could improve by adding access to phones or small emergency rooms for injured guests to be treated or wait until the staffs come to pick him up. Let's take an example of a guest who got his ankle injured down the hill, there is no way he could go up the hill again to his room or to the front office as of right now of this writing.
But still I would rate them for 5 stars of their other excellent features.

Very large open space with lots of trees, like being in a preserved forest with clean air. The distance between bungalows are far enough. Suitable for families who want more privacy. But not too many facilities. There is a mini playground, mini golf, a small soccer field with a net in the middle for playing volleyball, a seesaw, etc. Distance from front office to the rooms are quite far away. Many rooms are high on the hill so you have to walk a lot if you take the path. When I was there, most of the rooms were empty. The resort itself is quite far, about 50 minutes from Pasteur when the road is smooth. The road to get there quite small and winding.

Everyrhing about this place is good.
The room is very clean, and if there is any problem they can fix it right away. The environment is magnificent.
They have many activities to enjoy as well, like mini golf, badminton court, and table tennis.
The food also super delicious, I ordered Nasi Goreng Kambing and I missed it already. Hot and fresh Tahu isi also bring my appetite to the next level.
Having a dinner in a cool weather surrounding by gorgeous environment and looking to a great view with nice music, its perfect!
The only thing that can be improved is the stairs. If you can take 10 storey of stairs everytime you have to go to the lobby, go to the parking lot and having a meal in their restaurant, than is okay. :)
They provide a car to take you there but it only take 1 family at a time. And if the place is full, you have to wait for a very long time.
But overall for me this place is 8 out of 10!

Really happy staying in this resort in this pandemic situation as they have limited cottage (only 24), so it will never be too crowded. The scenery is awesome, the fresh air is also amazing, and the room was clean as well. However, inside the room was smelled not good, maybe the management have to do something with this problem. I will surely go back to this resort with bigger family members. I recommend 3 and 4 bedrooms villa, as they offer more space and landscape to hang around.

This resort has quite a vast and isolated feel to it. Many of the chalets are on tall stilts because the resort is built in steep forest. In the evening, all that you can hear is the sound of a thousand crickets and sometimes a bird of the night. If you enjoy looking at nature — plants, birds and interesting invertebrates — this place is perfect. The staff are very friendly, and from the dining room balcony at the top of the resort you have a fantastic view of the valley with the city of Bandung in the far distance. Sometimes you will hear the beautiful sound of boys reciting in a masjid just beyond the resort. The resort has a very memorable mushola in a pine hut, with a small library.
Whether you are walking to the dining room to eat, or walking to the mushola to pray, or just walking around the resort to look at nature, your walks will be peaceful and happy. All of the paths are very steep, so there are many steps through the tall pine trees.
