Hotel 88 Bekasi By WH

I rented 2 rooms for one night for myself, my fiancé, and my friends during our vacation. We stayed for the night of May 31st 2026.
Really really low quality hotel, even for a 2 star hotel, this is rather disappointing. Unacceptable quality and low effort maintenance (if there even is any maintenance. ) The brick wallpaper was peeling. Suspicious stains on beds, very telling they do not clean their bedding at all, because our pillows also smelled bad. Terrible plumbing (when you use the bidet, the pipes inside the wall shake and knock) the toilet had weak waterflow. The bathroom also just smelled HORRIBLE! Like something fell over and died! Lighting in our rooms were really dim. They also do not clean their electric kettles, ours had hard-water stains.
And yes, these issues were the same in both rooms, two different floors. So this is not a one-off scenario.
Also something I've noticed very frequently in a lot of hotels is they always seem to forget to install shower door trim, which is to prevent water from getting outside of the shower. This hotel was no exception.

Hotel 88 Bekasi – Affordable and Convenient Stay.
I stayed at Hotel 88 Bekasi and found it very affordable for a night. The check-in process was smooth, though a cash deposit was required—luckily, I had some on hand.
I requested a non-smoking room, but unfortunately only smoking rooms were available. So when I first entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell.
The room itself was quite spacious, with a decent view and easy access from the lobby. The hotel's location is also very accessible, which is a big plus.
There's a parking area available, although it's not very spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but overall, it was a comfortable stay.

I had the best experience staying here ❤️ It was during 2025 big flood, we had nowhere to go to evacuate and finally decided to try our luck at 88 Hotel. We got a room and waited for a bit until check in time. The manager on duty (I forgot his name, he was very tall and lean) was very kind to me and my spouse. He saw us waiting while shivering because our clothes were wet, and he offered us a warm tea. I almost cried because he was very kind to us, unlike the local govt who didn't reach out/helped the citizens.
The hotel was clean wtih soft bed and pillows, warm blanket, free cold & hot water refill, and tasty sahur/breakfast option. The location is also strategic. It is close to market, malls, and office areas. I highly recommend this hotel for all purpose stay.
