Strategic location. A lot of stalls selling local food surrounding the hotel.
Big room, basic amenities, cold aircond and good water pressure.
Staffs service could be improved. The bell boy opened the door for us and then staright went to sleep back.

Room size great. Location just a short walk to Braga Street. Hotel is down a back street. Easy to get to and cars can drive down. It is not intimidating — everyone smiles and said hello as I walked by. English is not spoken by all staff but that is okay, everyone seemed friendly. Instant coffee and water provided daily.
Large window. Shame the view was not the best but nice to see daylight. The bathroom (as most in Asia) needs a good deep clean. It did not look clean enough. Towels & bedding were fresh but did not have that lovely softener smell and had an off white colour. They had a musty smell.
Room is however worth what I paid. Basic but great space. I did not use room service or have breakfast so cannot comment here. AC a little weak.
Be aware that there is a light in the ceiling and it does not turn off. I switched every light switch I could see to ‘off’ at night and this remained on. Luckily I sleep with an eye mask but if you don’t — you will struggle at night.
