Padma Hotel Bandung

This is my late reviews about the hotel. It is so sad and happy at the same time to hear that the hotel is temporarily closed for some renovation. My family and I always had wonderful time during our stay in Padma. The staff and the services were very great. They were kind and helpful. The room was very neat and clean, the food was very delicious and they served various kind of food. And the best part is they had a beautiful scenery and we had trekking and I love the quiet ambience and another great thing was they had amusement park, so the hotel was very kids friendly.

I visited Padma Hotel Bandung in November, and it was undergoing renovation at that time. The staff mentioned that it’s expected to reopen around March or April 2026.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the new look—hopefully it will be even more stunning and luxurious!

The best things to do is just have fun and my friends loved it too. Good views, good pools and many activities you can do. This is not a hotel, but instead an amusment park. They provide donuts and many food that are very yummy. I've come to this hotel 3 times and yet they didn't dissapoint me but instead they made me happy.

This is a somewhat late review, but I simply had to share my wonderful experience at Padma Hotel Bandung. It truly is a serene escape with fantastic views, lush surroundings, and consistently excellent service that made every stay memorable. The staff go above and beyond, and the facilities are top-notch for relaxation and family fun.
It's bittersweet to note that the hotel is currently temporarily closed starting April 21, 2025, for an extraordinary transformation. They're enhancing accommodations and upgrading facilities, which is exciting to hear. I eagerly await its reopening to see the renewed beauty of this Bandung icon. Highly recommended for when it returns even better than before!

The definition of a hotel that combines luxury and culture, the building is not too high but very spacious. The room is very comfortable, presented with views of the hills and forests.
From several reviews and recommendations from my Friends, many said that the food at the Padma hotel restaurant is the most delicious and varied. I proved it myself that not only are the food and drinks delicious, but also the service. Even when checking in, I got a welcoming snack that all tasted very delicious.
The facilities for children and families are very diverse. My daughter really likes painting and fishing activities. All the staff are very friendly to children. In fact, she found it difficult to move on from this hotel because of all the kids' activities.
At that time there was a problem that my cap was left in the pool area when I already had checked out for 1 hour. It turned out that after we contacted the staff, they were very helpful, and my cap were still safely stored.
If I visit to Bandung, I will still choose Padma as a place to stay.

We are the returning customers. We had stayed at Padma Bandung for quite a couple of times. This time I chose to spend my birthday there. I would like to thank for the birthday decoration in our room, I really liked the joyful wordings on the mirror that brought joy everytime I saw it. Thanks to the GRO team! Also thanks for the birthday cake! We always like Padma Bandung and it felt good to be back. One thing that we liked most about Padma Bandung was that everything remained the same as our previous visits since years ago. In the world full of rapid changes, it just feels good being back to a place that remains the same, it makes you feel homey! Somehow, I got an email saying that Padma Bandung is going on renovation. It would be great if they don’t make too much change to it, because that homey feeling is a true gem and thats what makes us want to always come back.
Also, please kindly make it a non-smoking property As we found that many other properties in the city were exposed to smoke, It is hard to find a non-smoking hotel, especially that most Padma customers are family and with young children. We would love to come back again and hopefully it still retains that homey feeling. So, please don’t change too much!

Had a pleasurable moment at Padma Hotel Bandung. We arrived at 1 pm, but the room was not ready (as the check-in time was at 3 pm), but at 1.20 pm we received a call informing that the room was ready. We as well allowed to do the late check-out at 1 pm.
The Front Desk Agent (Lena) informed us about the OP Ribs Buffet Dinner, and gave us 30% discount. All the food tasted great.
The view from the balcony was magnificent. The room was clean and neat. All the staffs were attentive and friendly.
We had a really great time at Padma Bandung Hotel. Really looking forward for the newly renovated version, and surely will come back.

Padma has always been our first choice whenever we want to take a family break. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. It’s truly a kid-friendly place, with plenty of activities for children and even a kids' corner at breakfast.
The in-room complimentary treats are a nice touch—the cake was delicious, and the mirror greeting was super cute! All the staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel, every staff are very friendly, polite & helpful (every staff greet us with smile). When we asked for help, staff came fast & help well. Food (breakfast & afternoon tea) are delicious, various, a lot dishes cooked on the spot. Family & kids friendly hotel, many kids activities (different every day) with accompany nice staffs. Warm kids & adult pool is perfect in cold weather👌🏻they asked for special occassion and food preference. We celebrated anniv & birthday, they decorated our room corner, gave us chocolates, cake & bouquet flower (from Dea, Tiara & Nazwa from GR). Really love our stay here and will come back next time.

Amazing Experience beyond words at (indeed) the BEST hotel in Bandung. All the staffs are very hospitable, well trained and professional. But the remarkable experience here is this:
We booked 2 rooms for us and the kids in order of our wedding anniversary. Since i'm the one who booked the rooms, my husband emailed a remark later, asking for a writing in the room and if there's chance for upgrading 1 of the room as a surprise for me. The hotel replied ok for the writing, but no free upgrade promo.
It ended up: Both of us, my husband and I, got a very nice surprise, when we checked in, they upgrade BOTH of the room to Hillside Studio. The type of room that I've always wish for.

We recently stayed at Padma Bandung for the first time to celebrate our child's 3rd birthday. We would like to express our gratitude to the GRO team, especially Audi, Dedi, Regina, and Ziko, for decorating our room and providing a delicious cake and chocolates for our child. They truly enjoyed it!
All the staff here are very friendly and polite. Upon check-in, we were offered ice cream or drinks. If you arrive in the afternoon, you can enjoy afternoon tea, which includes delicious fried bananas and sticky rice.
The breakfast menu is very varied, and the room is clean and comfortable. There are many activities for children, including tracking, archery, and swimming. The swimming pool is also warm, which is very pleasant.
We had a wonderful experience staying here and would definitely consider staying again in the future.

The hotel staff provides outstanding and superb service. We give a 10/10 rating for everything from the check-in procedure to parking, enjoying all of the hotel's amenities, and checking out. Not only is she nice, but she is also quite helpful and proactive.
The lobby ambiance is nice and perfumed, with friendly staff who provide a warm and familial touch.
The accommodation and its amenities are in keeping with the premium hotel class, with a hint of extravagance. Similarly, the breakfast is set up so that visitors may enjoy their morning meal in comfort, with assistance from the very attentive personnel.
Outdoor activities such as light trekking are really intriguing and should be explored.
Wima is one staff member who deserves special recognition. He was quite helpful to us from check-in to check-out.
Another impressive experience, my mobile phone charger was left in the hotel room. I called the hotel and asked for help in finding it. It didn't take long, the hotel staff immediately sent a message that my charger was found and would be sent to my home address soon, and surprisingly, the shipping cost would be covered by the hotel.
Great job Padma, we will come again.

It was truly a comfortable stay at Padma Hotel Bandung for 4 days and 3 nights. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff were exceptional qualities that made my family and me eager to return.
Although the hotel's building may not appear grand, my family and I felt the comfort and warmth of the atmosphere during our stay. One of the best facilities to try is the large swimming pool with fully heated water. Another special highlight is the afternoon tea with fried tofu. For breakfast, the must-try dishes are kue ape and surabi.
The breakfast menu also offers a wide variety of options, including Western, Asian, and local dishes. Additionally, there is a delightful kids' corner that adds to the overall family-friendly experience.
If you're bringing children, they will definitely enjoy the play areas both indoor and outdoor on the 8th floor. The flying fox and archery are must-tries. For younger children, there is face painting available on the 4th floor. There is also a mini field for badminton, basketball, and soccer. It feels like you don't need to leave the hotel to enjoy a wide range of facilities and activities.

My stay at Padma Hotel Bandung was truly exceptional, a genuine five-star experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, a wonderful touch that enhanced my stay. The hotel is incredibly child-friendly, offering a wide array of complimentary games and activities to keep the little ones entertained. The spacious swimming pool and impressive gym were added bonuses, making it a perfect destination for families and fitness enthusiasts alike. I highly recommend Padma Hotel Bandung.

We have been to Padma Bali before, so we have high expectations for this resort and they do not dissapoint. Bravo for the whole Padma resort staffs because they are all very friendly and helpful since we stepped foot into the lobby.
We got a free upgrade from them which is super nice and also surprises on our room because we are staying for a special occasion.
The breakfast has a whole variety of dishes in which I'm not able to try all of that. The afternoon tea time session is also very nicely done, with the grilled siomay and fried tofu. They have a karaoke room that I haven't tried, yoga session, a whole fun activities for kids and adults.
