Lorin Sentul Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for two days, from 1–3 January 2026. Overall, the experience was okay, although the check-in process took quite some time due to the peak season.
The room was fine; however, adding a wardrobe would make it more convenient, especially since this hotel is popular as a family staycation spot.
The breakfast options were decent but nothing special. They did not offer any cheese options, so a wider variety would be a welcome improvement.
The swimming pool facilities are great. There are three pools: one for kids and two for adults with depths of 1.5 m and 1.4 m. While the pools are not Olympic-sized, they are suitable for light swimming exercise. However, during our stay, all the pools were quite crowded, again due to the peak season.

1. If you don't have car to mobilize yourself to go around and only need to stay at the hotel it's ok.
2. Make sure which room that you paid because they have Lorin Sentul with new building AND Lorin syariah with old building (with no staff there and has creppy vibes). Price clearly different on OTA but somehow when my office paid for the deluxe room, they confirmed it as the superior room with the same price. Well, maybe the travel agent made the mistake not confirm with the hotel confident that they will knew since we already booked them for almost awhole months but with different people.
3. Food buffet was good, but can be chaos if the hotel was full booked. Better went to breakfast earlier to have a seat.
4. Staffs were nice and helpful, though could be slow if you stayed at the old building and you need to go to the front dest and waiting for the to get what you need. I could say this because I stayed at the old superior type room one first before my office confirmed that ours supposed to be the deluxe rooms.
5. I think this is family friendly hotels since I saw kids had their fun here with the pool.
6. Their phone in the rooms (yes, rooms with s) are USELESS. Because, no matter how long you're waiting for answer whenever it's morning, day or evening, no one will. You need to go to front desk directly for whatever you need to get it handled.
7. Their room mostly had problems.

All the staff and service is good. Food is good.
But hotel conditions is need to be paid attention by management.
Carpet along the hallway seems like never cleaned in years.
The electric kettle in the room is still dirty with the water inside. Is it never been cleaned before?
The furniture needs to be maintenance and proper cleaning.
The slides in indoor playground is broken but it still there and so dangerous.
So far I disappointed because in social media there is no talking about the real condition. But still manageable to live because of the staff the are all friendly and helpful.
Hopefully the management will improve about the cleanliness standar in 4 stars hotel.
