The service wass so good and the staff were helpful throughout our stay. Location is strategic and easy to reach, making it convenient to go around. The room was clean, comfortable, and well prepared. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and worth the price.

Our three-day, two-night stay at Artotel Wanderlust Surabaya as a couple was overall very positive. The hotel successfully creates an atmosphere that is ideal for couples—comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and full of character.
The room was clean, modern, and creatively designed, making it very Instagram-worthy without compromising functionality. All room facilities such as air conditioning, shower, and toiletries worked well. Housekeeping maintained cleanliness consistently throughout our stay.
The lounge and restaurant areas offer a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Breakfast selection was varied with satisfactory quality. The overall atmosphere reflects an artsy concept that appeals to couples who appreciate design and creativity.
The experience and facilities provided are well aligned with its four-star rating. The hotel’s artistic concept adds significant value to the overall stay.
The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Surabaya, providing easy access to culinary spots, shopping areas, and entertainment venues. It is suitable for both relaxed itineraries and city exploration.
Some public areas feature bold visual themes. While visually attractive, they may feel slightly overwhelming for guests who prefer a more minimalistic or calm atmosphere.
On certain evenings, the music volume in public areas was a bit high, which could affect guests seeking a very quiet environment.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to major malls, which is a strong advantage. Parking is spacious and convenient. The lobby is clean and neat. It is not large, but it is acceptable. Check-in is smooth, staff are friendly, and baggage assistance is handled well.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed is good, though the pillows are firm, which may not suit everyone. The TV is excellent with modern technology, Wi-Fi works well, and the work desk is large and useful. Amenities are adequate. The bathroom is spacious and includes a standard bathtub. Cleanliness is acceptable but not outstanding, especially in the bathroom.
There are several issues that affect comfort:
• Bathroom lighting: the bathroom has no separate switch. When the main room switch is turned off, the bathroom lights also turn off, which is inconvenient at night.
• Elevators: only two elevators, slow during peak hours, not very clean, and there is an odor.
• Key cards: often require multiple attempts to work properly.
• Room lighting: overall lighting is too dim and lacks ambient warmth.
Breakfast is average. Staff are friendly but not well trained.
The restaurant is the weakest area. The atmosphere is not cozy, cleanliness feels below standard, air conditioning does not work properly, and seating is limited. Small details are missed, such as not providing a spoon to mix coffee, and condiments appear old. It does not feel like a proper hotel restaurant.
Final Verdict.

Very comfortable stay during my visit here. Breakfast are okay, but worth it. Although the hygiene could be reviewed for the dining room 😅
Room are comfortable, heated water is provided for bath and showers. Big rooms, with desk and huge bed, and a sofa. Bed and pillows are super soft, big, and comfy. Big floor to ceiling windows with nice views also.
Absolutely recommended if you're on staycation with partner or family 👌

I love how the room was super spacious and came with a bath tub. The internet connection was good, the atmosphere was nice. Close to the hotel, there’s also a supermarket and a fast food chain. The light was a bit too dim, but still nice. I’d love to stay here again if I were to visit Surabaya in the future!

I’ve stayed here before, back when their name’s still just TS Suites and Sutos was still operating, and now i’m back with my family. Even though Sutos currently looks like an abandoned building, the TS hotel is under a new management by Artotel and it maybe even more artistic than before.
It has art space with some paintings, a BTS merch corner (ARMY will love it), etc. The hospitality was great, from check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly. The room is still as nice as I remember. There is a bathtub separated by a sliding door from the bedroom, so you can soak while watching TV. The shower and toilet are separate, and there is a hair dryer in the drawer.
The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. They provide water refills, and if you need extra amenities like tissue or coffee capsules or wanna borrow cutlery, you can simply ask and they’ll provide them. One thing I like is that they always answer in a friendly and polite tone, NO cynicism, rudeness or snappiness in their attitude. That’s a great hospitality indeed.
The price is worth the facilities and the hospitality.

From the moment I arrived, the creative and artsy vibes really stood out. The welcome drink at the angkringan area was a nice touch — super chill, especially when they have live music.
The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Every suite comes with a bathtub (love that! ), and the amenities were complete. The bathroom and toilet are separated, which is super convenient.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, and I really enjoyed hanging out at One Deck Gastropub in the evening. Plus, there are so many cool 24-hour hangout spots nearby — perfect location!
Don’t miss the Artspace on the UG and GF floors — they’re currently featuring paintings from talented special needs kids, which makes the place even more meaningful.
Definitely one of the most artsy lifestyle hotels in Surabaya.

Food was great fish menu and sambals were delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. Engineering fast to respond changing the remote TV in the room event during midnight. My recent 3-night, 4-day stay at Artotel TS Suites was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be more pleased. From the moment I checked in, I felt incredibly welcome.
The room was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. This was especially appreciated during my first two nights, as I didn't leave the hotel at all. I had to study for an exam, and the comfortable, expansive room provided the perfect environment to focus without feeling cooped up. It was clear that comfort was a priority, and I genuinely appreciated the generous layout that made it easy to spend full days indoors.
Beyond the comfortable accommodations, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
Honestly, the four days and three nights flew by because I felt so incredibly comfortable and at ease. It truly felt like a home away from home, even with the added pressure of my studies. This is my second time staying here because I really enjoyed my first experience (Only for 1 night). For this visit, I booked a 3 night stay. I have no issues with the staff, they were friendly and quite helpful.
However, I do have concerns regarding the cleanliness and facilities. I’ve attached a picture of our bed to show the condition, there were many red stains that looked like blood, and the pillowcases had visible mold. Honestly, is this acceptable in a hotel? It definitely doesn’t reflect the standards of a 4-star property.
Even after I requested housekeeping on the third night, I was still given the same pillowcases with visible mold. It makes me question whether they are truly cleaning the room properly and replacing all the bed linens. Also, after the room was made up, the bathroom soap was not refilled : (.
The room walls also had mold and clearly need repainting. The bathtub made creaking noises, as if it was unstable, and some items in the room were dusty.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the cleanliness and overall quality of the rooms.

One of my go to hotel. Love the view at night and also very comfy. Also you get a bathtub with a cheap price. My most favorite aspect of this hotel is the in room dining. Not too expensive and delicous. A must try. Also the staff is very helpful, I asked if the food can be reheat because there is some left over. And they really heat the food for me.

At morning during check-in asked help at the manager to prep the pizza and chicken I bought for tonight at my room. Well not only they prep-ed it perfectly, but also kindly upgraded my room and add some wine for the perfect night. I had a truly wonderful stay at TS Suites Artotel. The hotel was very comfortable, and the room was modern—equipped with a smart TV and a bathtub. The staff were all incredibly friendly, especially Ms. Dena, Ms. Nevia, and Mr. Gerald from the front office team. From the moment I arrived until check-out, everything went smoothly and efficiently.

Hotel was great, cleanliness was excellent with complete amenities. Spacious room with bathtub inside, very worth the price. However, I have request for 3 set of bowl and cutleries, they said can only give 2, even I request 2 bowl 2 plates and 2 cutleries, they also did not approve, quite disappointed. Maybe it can be improved in the future.

I think I just chose the wrong hotel or maybe my expectations are higher. I have a bad feeling when I arrive in front of the hotel. It's an old building and not represented as a nice hotel. The lobby is dark perhaps because of the black color they choose, the reception is quite good and helpful. The lift is dirty. Why don't they put a new carpet instead of the old and torn one. And it doesn't smell good either. The room condition is just standard with no special touch or nice decoration like I expected in another Artotel hotel. The bathroom is big. It has a bath tube and separate toilet and bath shower. Still everything is old even the towel. The worst part is breakfast. I never expected to find a dirty and oily floor at the restaurant. I think they don't take care of the food for breakfast. If the hotel cannot provide fancy food, at least they can give good food.
