Plataran Bromo

1 word: breathtaking. I stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and let me tell you, those are one of the best nights I have experienced.
It is both beautiful at night and at day. At day, you can enjoy the cold mountain breeze, the birds chirping, and the scenery. While at night, you can even see the stars at some place here.
The breakfast is delicious, the room is cozy, the mountain vibe is there. It is chilly but it's really pleasant.
Will go back here when I get the chance, I could not recommend this place more.

We spent one night at Plataran Bromo this past June to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable. The resort feels incredibly exclusive and private, tucked away up on the mountain with a serene atmosphere and a refreshing, cool climate that was a perfect escape.
The rooms were fantastic, and we treated ourselves to a wonderful massage at the spa—highly recommended for anyone looking to truly unwind. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dining; every meal was delicious and beautifully presented.
What really set this stay apart, however, was the staff. During afternoon tea, they completely surprised us with a cake and a song. It was such a kind, humble, and thoughtful gesture. Their hospitality even followed us to our next destination; one of the staff members mentioned our celebration to their friends at our next 5-star hotel in Surabaya, leading to another lovely surprise there!
Even though we only stayed for one night, the combination of the stunning location, great food, and genuine kindness of the team made it a highlight of our trip. I cannot remember all their names, but I have kept the photos of the wonderful people who looked after us. We would love to go again!

Lovely Resort, Great service by Pak Boris and his team, Awesome service and good food. One of the best resorts we have ever stayed. We were welcomed by Masseuse doing a lovely neck and shoulder massage. The welcome by GM Boris and Ega (Head Butler). They made our Holidays stay exceptional. The Tanggulangin Hills and the Lovely Flower gardens with Sunrise and sunset points are exceptional. Awesome resort for Kids and family. Loved it. ❤️ They arranged a very Nice tour to Mount Bromo and wr had a great stay at the Resort.

My family and I stayed in Plataran Bromo during our Christmas holiday and we had a pleasant time here. All the staffs were helpful and accommodating. Plataran Bromo also able to arranged and booked everything for our activities before, during, and after our days. And even though we were up in the hills, the Wi-Fi was enough to accommodate for evensudden work tasks. Pak Danu and Pak Dik who guided us to Bromo were an amazing driver, guide, plus photographer. Mas Hanif who served us during our breakfast in Syailendra restaurant was 100% helpful and made the best combination of ice latte double shot that made my morning. I would recommend the stay to everyone who wish to spend their holiday in Bromo area! 💕

I booked 2 nights stay this December and found Plataran Bromo to be absolutely beautiful, staff are attentive (spa, hike guide, restaurant, receptionist). I initially had miscommunication with the admin regarding excursion before my check in, but Pak Boris and Mas Hafiz were able to help aligned with what I need. They even picked me up with jeep as my personal driver had issue with route on the way to the resort.

What we love the most is their excellent services! They even informed me which food in the breakfast buffet that contains my allergen and they notice that we skipped breakfast (to catch sunrise at Bromo) and offered to deliver breakfast to our room once we arrived. Also when we need medical aid, they immediately respond to our needs and drove us to the nearest medical center.
The place is so serene and perfect if you’re looking for tranquility. It also makes us fitter since we need to take a long walk (and stairs) to get to our room. Foods are tasty and our attic room is lovely. Recommended place to visit.

Stayed here for a day at the Platinum Suite. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and replies fast. Food was quite good. We asked for extra water and it was delivered within minutes. The place is quiet and relaxing. Kids enjoyed their stay.

A. Great hospitality from personal butler (since pre-arrival) good job.
B. Personal touch from your team (say my gratitude to your staff in Pamiranti executive lounge that served me well) even for small matters: during room service order, welcoming massage, and your driver during "hotel tour" was very polite, also I had short chit chat at 11pm with one of your reception desk staff regarding road condition to plataran (very helpful)
C. Special park for EV (1st EV charger at 2000mdpl 😅) and it helped me a lot.
D. Ruangan kamar cukup kedap, so comfy for me and fam.
Personal opinion for input.
A. I found some "cracking" floor noise in suite 2005. Haha maybe need to be repaired a little bit.
B. More options for breakfast? It would be perfect.
C. How about combine your "yellow light" with LED White light. Haha.
Overall, thank you for your hospitality.

I had an exceptionally pleasant stay. All the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially Mrs. Tiwi and Ms. Citra, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The room was spotless, the resort felt truly luxurious, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Overall, a wonderful experience — I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

We had a really great stay at Plataran Bromo. The views were amazing, the air was cool and fresh, and the whole place felt peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Cindy who brought us on the resort tour twice due to bad weather. The food was tasty, and breakfast had good variety.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Bromo.

Good place to stay and super family friendly. There are a lot of kids activity. The room is so nice and the staffs are friendly too. Especially Mr. Hanif was very accommodating with our customized request during breakfast time. We had a very great time here and definitely will come back next time.

The views are stunning. We booked the deluxe attic and it's spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay at Plataran Bromo! The grounds are gorgeous, full of flowers and stunning mountain views. Mr. Boris, the GM, Pak Ega and the entire team made us feel so welcome, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially when my husband wasn’t feeling well. I went up the mountain alone for the sunrise, and they took great care of me — it was magical, followed by a lovely picnic on the savannah.
Special thanks to our butler Kak Louise, who was so sweet and helpful throughout our stay. The chefs were amazing, and the cooking class was such fun. We made rawon, ayam betutu and pisang ontel ontel. Our daughter Cara Rose adored the kids’ area, which was a mini theme park!
We stayed in a lovely suite, loved the cool crisp air, great coffee, and wonderful spa. Enjoyed a wonderful bbq by the fire. Plataran Bromo truly has it all — nature, culture, warmth, and heart. Loved the resort’s deep respect for the customs of the Tengger people. We will definitely be back.

For anyone planning a trip, this resort is absolutely the best place to spend at least two days. The property is huge, and the level of service is outstanding. However, a crucial note: advance reservations are absolutely necessary. Given its considerable distance from other towns, you won't find a better alternative nearby.
We chose this location to celebrate my birthday with the entire family, and it was a resounding success. A huge thanks to Boris, the General Manager, who despite his position, was incredibly humble and welcoming, personally taking the time to show us the facilities.
The food quality is high. Although there was a slight mishap where one dish wasn't cooked properly, the staff corrected it right away by offering a complimentary replacement. The amenities are great for families: there's a mini-farm, a mini-playground, organized activities like Tea Time, and adventure trips in a Jeep to Mount Bromo.

I stayed at Plataran Bromo and absolutely loved it! The hospitality was amazing :) everyone was so friendly and made me feel really welcome. The place is peaceful with stunning views, and everything felt so well taken care of. It honestly made my trip so special. Would totally come back again! :)

Beautiful atmosphere and architecture — accommodations felt homey yet also luxurious, staff was also very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious — what stood out in my memory was the moringa congee, the chocolate lava cake dessert for dinner. With the beautiful natural surroundings and fog enveloping the premises, it felt like we were in a fairytale environment. Would come again next time to try facilities like the yoga class, farming, and spend more time chilling around the resort and enjoy the view.

The moment we were greeted at the foyer, we knew that we will be in for a treat. Our Platinum Suite was beautifully decorated to commemorate our anniversary and it was sparkling clean! The environment is so serene and peaceful too. On top of that, the services rendered by the Butlers Lintang, Cindy, Ega, Ragil and Louise was impeccable! Communication with the Butlers began a week before our stay to ensure that everything goes well. I was truly heartened by the extra miles extended to us! We also had the Campervan BBQ Picnic served by Alfin who skilfully prepared and served us the BBQ to perfection, not forgetting the delish local coffee! On the second night, we had the Romantic Dinner at the glasshouse surrounded by gorgeous floras. Wrapped up the stay with a comforting Volcanic Bromo Stone Massage by Fina from Padma Spa. The accommodation, facilities and food are of excellence. I have to once again praise that the services provided are top notch & efficient! Not forgetting the interactions we had with the GM Mr. Boris who ensures that the guests are all at a 100% the moment he steps in morning. My husband & I are truly pleased. Thank you, Plataran Bromo. 🌷🌷🌷
