RedDoorz @ Manukan Surabaya

The hotel has parking available, but guests describe it as very narrow and limited in space. One review mentions a negative experience where, due to the lack of available parking spaces, staff had to suggest that the guest relocate to another property.

Guest feedback regarding the staff is sharply divided. Some describe the team members as friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Others complain about rudeness, incompetence, unusual demands (such as requiring ID from a relative who was merely helping bring luggage into the room), and dishonest billing practices, including failing to provide receipts for cash payments.

Guests report issues with payment transparency. There were instances where the front desk staff did not provide a receipt for cash payments, citing a computer malfunction. It was also noted that bank transfers were unavailable, though a QR code payment option was offered.

Feedback regarding drinking water is contradictory. One guest noted receiving one complimentary 600 ml bottle of water. Another complained that no complimentary water was provided and that they had to pay 20,000 for a selection of three bottles.

The condition of the rooms receives mixed reviews, ranging from "clean and cozy" to "dirty and cramped." Many guests complain about worn-out furniture, soiled bedsheets and pillowcases, and discrepancies between the online photos and reality. Some guests also noted that the rooms are too small, leaving barely enough space even to pray.

Many guests express dissatisfaction with cleanliness. Reviews mention dirty floors with hair, poorly cleaned bathrooms, sewage odors, and even the presence of large worms in the bathroom. Towels are frequently described as old, worn out, and having an unpleasant odor.

Feedback regarding the air conditioning is mixed: some guests are satisfied with the cooling, while others feel the AC is not sufficiently effective. Appliances are often reported to be out of order, with complaints about TVs that are difficult to turn on or have only two working channels. Additionally, water heaters in the bathrooms did not function for some guests.

The set of amenities is extremely limited. In some cases, only liquid soap is provided, and guests have complained about the lack of toothbrushes and even trash bins in the rooms. A noticeable shortage of clothes hangers and towel shelves was also reported.

The hotel has stairs; however, they are described as steep and slippery, which may be hazardous for children and elderly guests. There is no mention of an elevator in guest reviews.
