The hotel was very beautiful and well designed. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the facilities were great. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.
One small downside was some stains on the floor, likely from luggage, which made the place look a little less polished. A friend of mine stayed in one of the renovated rooms, and it was really pretty and very well designed, definitely a highlight. The shower is really good.
What I found truly disappointing, however, was that photos and videos were being taken while I was swimming. I reported this to the hotel and they responded quickly and professionally. There are already clear rule signs at the pool, but I think it would be a good idea to add a sign specifically stating that filming or photographing other guests at the pool is not allowed.
All in all, I had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is kinda classic in style and yet they modernized it. Room is quite spacious. They installed smart TV (android tv), so you can watch anything from Netflix to Disney+. Just don't forget to sign out when you check out.
I think they need to upgrade the pillow though. It was too soft for my liking. But the room is quiet. So it's a plus. The lights are probably too dark for some.
Breakfast were good. They have lots of choices. The restaurant is clean and the staff are quick enough to clean up the tables once they are empty, so the next guests won't have to wonder around looking for the clean ones.
Fitness room is big and they have lots of equipments to satisfy your gym needs. Swimming pool is large too.

The hotel is generally good. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of options, the room was clean and equipped with complete amenities, which is a big plus. However, when I entered my superior room, there was an unpleasant smell, probably due to the old carpet. Additionally, the fridge wasn’t very cold, even though it was plugged in. While these things were a bit disappointing, they didn’t completely ruin the experience. Overall, it's a decent place to stay.

The room has lots of burn marks from cigarettes, and some parts of the wall were also dirty. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. To be honest, I had a good impression when arrived at the lobby, but the cleanliness of the room is left to be desired.

Java Paragon Hotel & Residence Surabaya is a 4 star hotel situated at Mayjend Sungkono. Beautiful Tower, elegant lobby. Room was quite spacious. Breakfast was great, with different kinds of dishes. They even had an indomie station when I was there on January. Worth the price 💰💰

Really pleasant stay here, staff are nice and THE BREAKFAST IS TOP NOTCHES! So many variety and tasty. But the Wi-Fi so slow at 8th floor : (

The location isnt as convenient as those with cars have to take a long route even when the hotel is on the main road, the room itself is alright, room is very small for a premiere deluxe twin with extra bed, the lights are not as bright as we’d like. The service so far is great! Although theres always room for improvements etc.

We booked 4 rooms for a night, due to friend's wedding. The rooms are clean and great for the value. Also, I want to saybig thanks to Mr. Andis who helped us thoroughly while taking photos near pool. His patience and help for us young girls with variois demand was remarkable 😊👍

I have a opportunity to stay 1 night here during my business trip and honestly to say that this hotel was beyond comfortable. The location is near to several big shopping mall and the first view entrering the hotel was a fancy and clean lobby.
I booked a nice room with the help of the receptionist which also gives some nice tips on the city nearby tourist spot.
Finally the breakfast also serves a nice variety of international and local dishes and I have a pleasant time enjoying my breakfast here.
