Thank you to the Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya for your kind gesture. I had only received confirmation for one of two nights I had hoped to use a room upgrade, but thankfully, the hotel generously offered me a complimentary three-night upgrade.
They kindly upgraded my room from a Deluxe to a Family Suite with two bedrooms. The room was wonderful. The master bedroom had its own bathroom with a bathtub, and the second bedroom had twin beds with a regular bathroom. The living room area included a guest restroom, a mini kitchen, and a dining area. I truly wish I could have stayed longer.
The staff were incredibly responsive and provided a very warm welcome. Once again, thank you for such a pleasant and memorable stay.

Stepping into Fairfield Surabaya feels a little like walking into a question: is this a field of fairies, or a quiet corner of fairytopia? Everything looks just a bit too dreamy to be accidental.
The pool sits high above the city, framed by two tall towers connected by a bridge, or maybe it's the pool itself that connects them. It's hard to tell. All I know is: it feels symbolic, almost like two young lovers tied together by something invisible yet undeniable.
But just like a relationship, the connection looks the most magical during sunrise and sunset. Those soft in-between hours where everything feels possible… and everything feels temporary. A reminder that beauty sometimes lives in the moments you can't hold for too long… only feel.

I stayed at this hotel on August 15th — August 17th with my family. For me, I do have some critics about this hotel, things you can revise.
1. The food, I ordered french fries and the french fries was bland. Also, the steam rice that I ate, I think it's still harsh, use more water please when cook it. Also, that thailand crispy dory I ate at august 17th at Kava Restaurant… yup, the fish meat was still a little bit harsh too. I had a little difficulty to swallow it.
2. The pillows of the bed, it's a little bit harsh too to sleep with. I hope the hotel can provide softer pillows.
3. The samsung TV in my room, the quality was bad, the picture quality was not clear, not feeling good to watch TV because of it for me. I think it's a sign to renovate it.
4. Literally, the phone in my bedroom was not even working. Just be watchful to your property in overall.
5. I was literally surprised that the breakfast menu was limited, like… Not even diverse. A diverse menu of foods and drinks in a hotel is one of the plus points for a hotel. So, yeah, it was unfortunate. Also, this is a 4 stars hotel, I am sure you can be better than this 😁🙏.
But, the staffs were friendly, always smiling, and willing to help. This is the good point, and thank you for the restaurant party who made a special rawon for my grandma at breakfast. Thank you, that's all 🙏🙏🙏😁😊

Stayed here for a nights and had such a great experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is super convenient. What really stood out was the service at the front desk.
Aida and Rachel (Receptionist staff) were absolutely wonderful – friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They made check-in smooth and gave great local tips during my stay. Their warm hospitality really made me feel welcome.

The service was INCREDIBLE! The level of hospitality in Fairfield is nothing short of incredible. The room is equally impressive as well. The level of cleanliness and how the pay attention to detail are just simple amazing. I simply love this place! Gonna stay here the next time I visit Surabaya!

It was my first time staying at this hotel. The room was clean and nice. They provide toothbrush, shower cap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, big towel, sandals, tea, coffee, sugar, and bottled water. There's also hangers, mini chiller, safety box and tissues for guests to use. I didn't have time to explore the breakfast area since I checked in quite late at night and have to check out early in the morning. But all the staff here are friendly and helpful. You can register your email to be a member and get some benefits. Ask the front desk about it 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Customer service was top notch for the price paid. Breakfast spread was very good. Only room for improvement is for a better smelling shower gel and to have at least 1 more treadmill in the gym.

This is my second stay at Fairfield Surabaya for a business trip. This trip is for three nights and four days. I would like to thank the entire team at Fairfield Surabaya for their excellent service, especially for accommodating my early check-in request upon my morning arrival, which allowed me to freshen up before my first meeting on Monday. I also appreciated the lovely welcome platter and card, as well as the thoughtful towel animals and notes from the housekeeping team each day. Thank you to Siska, Jeffi, and Harry (FOM) for their great support during my business trip. Highly recommended!

It's okay but the rooms can be improved, the room interior is a bit old and needs to be replaced. Good pricing even during new year eve. The service was great. Food was pretty good.

This was a getaway trip for the Christmas Holidays from my work in East Kalimantan. It was a short 2 day trip and solo as my wife and kiddo are in Korea visiting the in laws. Hotel is well presented with spacious Lobby and Front Desk Staff was very courteous and effecient with the check in, male Supervisor/Manager (Im assuming he is) was very graciously welcoming. Room is clean and spacious, well maintained, toilet very clean and free from odours (could use some cotton buds if available). As I arrived/check in pretty late a night, around 8.30pm, I decided to order some room service, a tenderloin steak and chicken Caesar salad. I was pretty disappointed with how they cooked the steak as I ordered for medium but by the looks of the steak, its pretty much "blue". I am guessing the meat was "frozen" and thawed before grilled. Overall, I would rate my stay 7/10 and in room service 1/10, would have given 8 if the steak was perfect medium. I showed pictures of the badly done tenderloin steak to the "Manager" the next day and he apologised and took some pictures from my phone.

Comfortable rooms with great service. The hotel features a good breakfast, a nice pool, and a well-equipped gym. It's a convenient choice for both business and leisure stays, located close to malls and dining options. Friendly staff and a clean environment make it a pleasant stay.

Friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy, relaxed and fully catered experience in the heart of Surabaya.
We stayed as a last minute decision on route from Bali to Jakarta and it has been a highlight.

Very nice hotel and worth a stopover! I came here with my colleague. The rooms are clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. The linens are fresh and clean. For the food at the breakfast so varied and delicious.
All the employees are friendly, starting from the receptionist, in the restaurant and also in the rooms, especially Mas Zaky, the room attendant on the 25th floor, he give us a good service.

A fantastic hotel in Surabaya! The rooms are very clean, and the beds provide great comfort for a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms are well-maintained, and the food is delicious. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the laundry service is efficient and reliable. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Surabaya!

The room is cozy, neat. The breakfast is delicious. Plenty type of food. And the resto surrounding with a nice pojnt of view area. Especially the barrel table beside the swiming pool. I can smoke freely. All the employees welcome and have a nice and good looking dressing.
