Luminor Hotel Airport Sidoarjo By WH , Best Choice and Strategic Location with a Rooftop area in Town

The hotel features its own parking lot, which is generally described as quite spacious. However, some guests noted that parking spaces can feel tight, and valet parking service may be required during peak times (such as during Iftar). Additionally, one guest reported inattentiveness from security personnel who did not assist with parking in the basement garage or direct traffic when exiting the lobby area.

The hotel staff is described as very friendly, professional, and helpful. Guests frequently highlight reception staff (Tias, Renna, Isna, Yusuf), noting their efficiency, helpful information, and hospitality. Special thanks were also extended to the security staff (Pak Rudy and Pak Habibi) for assisting with luggage. Overall, service is rated highly, although there was a negative report regarding the marketing department over an erroneous additional charge following a wedding payment.

Breakfast at the hotel is highly praised by most guests for its extensive variety of dishes. The menu changes daily and includes traditional, Asian, Indonesian, and American cuisines, dim sum, as well as a wide selection of pastries, cakes, and desserts. The spread even features traditional drinks (jamu, bandrek) and popcorn for children. On the downside, guests noted that during peak hours the restaurant can get crowded, leading to lines and occasional wait times for an available table.

The hotel follows eco-friendly practices: water carafes are provided in the rooms instead of single-use plastic bottles. Hot and cold water dispensers are located in the hallways for all guests to refill their water.

Rooms are described as clean, spacious, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. Guests praise the comfortable mattresses, comparing them to "sleeping on a cloud," and the effective air conditioning. The rooms feature Smart TVs. However, isolated complaints were reported: one room smelled of cigarette smoke despite its non-smoking status, another had a leaking air conditioner, and one guest noticed an odor from an un-fresh towel.

The windows offer a beautiful view of the city and the stadium, which looks especially impressive at night. The rooms feature spacious balconies that guests use to relax and enjoy the scenery. It is worth noting that some balconies are shared, so conversations from neighboring guests may be heard in the evenings.

Most guests are satisfied with the air conditioning, noting that the rooms are pleasantly cool and comfortable. Nevertheless, there were instances where the air conditioner was not cooling effectively—requiring a room change—or experienced technical issues such as leaks.

Rooms include full sets of bath amenities (shampoo, soap), which guests rate positively for their pleasant fragrance. However, one guest reported clogged shampoo and soap dispensers. Welcome snacks are also available for guests.

The hotel has elevators, but one guest reported technical issues with one of the two elevators, resulting in longer wait times. It was also noted that staff members use the elevators to move around the property. That said, security and reception personnel actively assist guests with transporting heavy luggage to taxis or to their rooms.

Some guests noted the lack of a swimming pool and fitness room as a drawback, despite the overall high level of comfort.

The hotel features a ballroom and event spaces. Guests praise the food quality and service during celebrations; however, there were serious complaints regarding insufficient lighting in the hall during fashion shows—which distorted clothing colors in photos—as well as poor time management when one event was not concluded before the next was scheduled to begin.
