Amazing homestay, I had a great time here and can absolutely reccommend it. The family are so kind and helpful, which really went a long way helping me plan my trip to make the most of my time. Location is perfect for visiting the nearby waterfalls and viewpoints, and is accessible by public bus from 'Bayangan Gadang Station' in Malang or 'Terminal Bus Minak Koncar' in Lumajang. The owners were really helpful with making sure I got the right bus there and back, which I really appreciated. They also let me hire a bike to visit 'Panorama Kapas Biru' viewpoint and Tumpak Sewu (get there early before the crowds come at 9! ). I can also reccommend walking 15 mins to 'Kabut Pelanti' waterfall if you've got a spare evening — I got there at 5pm and it was empty and very impressive. Breakfast here was lovely, and there's a local restaurant 2 mins walk away for dinner. The rooms and bathroom are simple but good enough. Overall I had a great stay here, thanks for being so kind and helpful!

We spend here two night with the family. The host is very supportive and forthcoming, at the same time not overwhelmingly intrusive. Truly homestay experience with necessary facilities and amenities (hot water, air con etc). Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay here, the room was clean and very comfortable, with the option of A. C and a fan. Good internet, hot water shower, shampoo and liquid soap for showering, the hosts are super friendly and helpful, we rented one of their scooters for a fair price of 75k per day, the waterfalls are very close to the home stay, there are plenty of local restaurants nearby too, some are walking distance and others 3 minutes away by motorbike. If you came to these parts I recommend staying here.

Best homestay and people.
It’s very close to A lot of waterfalls other than Tumpak Sewu. They give you good advice and bring you everywhere without asking!
Me and my nephew got foodpoisoning (from a nearby restaurant, our fault) and were very sick and had to throw up.
The owner stayed awake with us all night to take care of us.
In the morning he drove us to the hospital and helped us out.
They would do anything to help you with your trips, taxi’s and more.

Amazing homestay with the nicest owners!
My bike had an issue and the owner went out of his way to fix it. The people here are so kind and I was incredibly thankful for their help. :)
They have the cutest cats and great banana pancakes. Easy access to all the waterfalls.

This home stay is located ideally to see all the waterfalls of the area. The staff is very nice. The breakfast was delicious (pancakes with banana), but it takes a while to be prepared (25-30 minutes).
The room is quite nice and the bathroom works great. However, the walls are paper thin, so don’t count on getting a good night sleep there. You can hear absolutely everything that’s happening around (and there’s a lot going on, like music, people chatting and vehicles passing by, from 4:30 until 7:00 in the morning).
I would still recommend staying there if you’re planning on staying one night to see the sceneries of the area.

I cannot recommend this property enough! Clean, comforteble bed, affordable, incredible location minute drive from all the waterfalls, the host and his family are incredibly hospitable, and hot shower/Wi-Fi are nice. The best part is the friendliness of Aris and his wife, I felt like family. This is my second time staying here and I will continue to upon return and recommend to anyone coming to the area.
