Great guesthouse and even better host!
Clean and comfortable rooms, free tea and coffee, and a small but nice common area in the inner yard.
But the highlight definitely is the host, Budi. He's friendly, really funny, and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. He picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived and dropped us off at the train station when we left. He has really useful tips for visiting Bromo and the surrounding area and can help with motorcycle rental or anything else you may need.

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodation fully met my expectations, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What truly made the experience special was the host: extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I felt welcome and at ease right away. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone and one I’d love to return to!

I've just spent one night in Brak guest house but I'm immediately felt like home with a coffee or tea in house. Mr Budi was polite, kind and very helpful host. He helped me also in finding a honest scooter rental (Mr. Charles) and in organizing my trip to the waterfalls. He even woke up early in the morning for this. Room was very clean and unbeatable for this price. Really recommended.
