My first ever visit here was during the Table Manner subject. First, my class (3B) was guided by Mr. Rio (sorry if I butchered the name).
All the staffs were professional, as to be expected. Plus, they were friendly to keep the mood light.
The rooms and facilities they showcased were incredibly neat, and top-notch. Everything was clean and in the perfect place.
To every member of Aston Hotel Madiun team, I express my sincerest gratitude for the opportunity, not only to visit but learn more about Table Manner etiquette and other insights that may come in handy in the future.

Wow, what a fantastic stay at Hotel Aston Madiun! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and impeccable service that made us feel right at home. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could want. Think plush beds, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a cozy balcony overlooking the city. Breakfast was a delightful spread of fresh local delicacies and international options, perfectly setting the tone for our day.
The location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Madiun, close to shopping, dining, and attractions. We loved the rooftop pool for some evening relaxation under the stars. The hotel's attention to detail, from the elegant lobby to the friendly concierge who helped us plan our outings, was truly marvelous. If you're visiting Madiun, Hotel Aston is a must-stay. Stayed 1 night with friends at Aston Madiun. The family room was spacious, very clean room, clean towel, and good services for the front office staff. The breakfast was superb. They served the Pecel Madiun. I liked it. The swimming pool also good one. At night dont miss the rooftop lounge, get a glass of tequila and enjoy the view. What a life!. Thanks Aston. For sure we will have a another stay.

Update review.
I booked a Family Room at Aston Madiun expecting it to be more spacious than a regular room. Surprisingly, the family room is only 28 sqm, while the Premier Room—which is for two people—is 40 sqm. The price difference is significant, with the family room being much more expensive. When I asked the reception about it, they said the layout was designed that way because the family room accommodates three people. That explanation was quite disappointing. Logically, a room meant for three guests should be larger, not smaller—especially when it costs more.
I also requested a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, although the room was labeled non-smoking, the smell of cigarette smoke was still strong and unpleasant. Management should be strict with guests who smoke in non-smoking rooms and ensure the room is properly cleaned and refreshed before the next guests arrive.
Both my child and I are sensitive and allergic to cigarette smoke, so staying in a room that smelled like smoke was very uncomfortable for us.
After 3 night stayed at Aston Madiun and was quite disappointed with how the hotel handles guest safety and comfort — especially regarding smoking. While waiting in the lobby, I noticed someone smoking in the air-conditioned indoor area. When I politely raised a concern, the staff responded that smoking is allowed because a smoke extractor is installed.
This is unacceptable.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Aston Madiun Hotel! Honestly, it’s the best hotel you’ll find in Madiun. The rooms are super spacious and very comfortable — way bigger than I expected. Plus, the location is perfect if you want easy access to everything in town.
What really made my stay special was the service. Every staff member I met was so friendly and ready to help. When I had a problem with a crying baby next door, they immediately moved me to a quieter, even nicer room. It made me feel truly cared for.
If you’re visiting Madiun, you really can’t go wrong with Aston. Great rooms, awesome service, and amazing value!

Firstly, I must thank to the restaurant team especially Sodik. He has impressed me with his ultimate service like remember my name, help to take fruit for me, showed me the Ramadan venue and the best recommendation, smiley expression always and very passionate and committed to serve all guests.
Every morning, I will be greet by a warm sunny smile from Miss Iza & Andini who always show their passionate service by their never ending friendliness and the greatest smiles.
They are all the asset in Ashton and please help to recognise their hardwork with their greatest effort to shine in this hotel.
Because of such a great service, I believe they've impressed me to put Ashton my top list of accommodation during the trip here and my best recommendations review in my contact list.
The room is magnificent and the breakfast has the most varieties I have ever had.

I have stayed here since 24/11. At first, I wanted to try out for 1 week and see whether this place is a good place to stay and clean or not. The moment I walked in as a customer with my appearance not so ideal (due to connecting flights and on the road for more than 16 hrs) The smile from the receiving personnel at the door was so genuine that it immediately light up my spirit. The receptionist was so friendly and even due to some language difficulties, the smile on her face never waned. She even remembered my name the next day. Every corner that I go which has any hotel staff around, they will always greet with a smile. Greet with SINCERE SMILE and respect. For the housekeeping workers, They too are so nice and helpful. Always greet with sincere smile and always helpful to any request. I have extended my stay for another week. I am sure the service will maintain to be good. Good job Aston Madiun employees👍👍👍

All the service are very good, there are many kind of food such us western food and javanesse food, the room service is very clean and good… the best hotel on this town … and the officer (Kak Yuli) offer us for the coffe and orange smoothie ls for breakfast.

Irfan M. And Laurensius are and have been always been my favorite bar tender, and front office personnel. They are always friendly helpful and haves smiles on there faces. They are never in a bad mood and are always so cheerful with the best attitudes.

The hotel has good services with friendly staffs at almost every department. Facilities are quite alot and fullfill customer needs such as sauna, gym, swimming pool, convenience store, cafe, etc. The room are neat clean and offering stunning view. The restaurant serves many types of food from different countries but still giving traditional taste and it is delicious 👌

This is the first time I came to this hotel again after almost a decade. My previous, and first, visit was way back in 2015. And that too was by accident as there was a last-minute change of my travel plan at the time.
Anyway, unlike the previous stay, I stayed for several nights this time to get a better feel for the hotel's general service.
Overall, the service meets all the expectations. The general level of cleanliness is good. The breakfast variety is good. The level of comfort is acceptable.
But I do notice some wear and tear in parts of the hotel's premises.
While my first arrival in this hotel in 2015 felt majestic, it was average this time. It seems that the hotel has lost its shine.
The hotel breakfast menu isn't actually impressive. But the presence of sausages and potatoes saves the day.
If there's something disappointing about the stay, it has to be the pillows. I noticed some pillows were too thick and too hard, which caused headaches. Some are too thin.
This sadly reduces the overall enjoyment of staying in this hotel.
Regardless, my Japanese friends who came along with me was very satisfied with overall stay in this hotel. I too would actually love to come back here again if I revisit Madiun.

The service provided by Mba Yuli during our breakfast was exceptional. She was very caring to our needs and asked us various questions regarding our stay at Aston and the breakfast menu itself. We are very pleased to have been served by her and we will surely visit Aston Madiun again. As a family, we have always experienced a pleasant stay.

A spa reception offered me a tiny sea salt jar if I left a Google review for them. Well, sure! Forget about the glowing, amazing, and fantastic review; this is what you'll get instead. But trust me, if you take it seriously, you'll take your spa to a whole new level.
I love spas, and I love having spa sessions in every city or hotel I visit because it's so nice to have a relaxing spa after a long, tiring trip. This means I know exactly what the usual steps are in spa treatments, from the cheapest to the most expensive ones.
Today, I decided to relax and take a spa session. I took a reference from one of their reels about their spa experience and was intrigued, so I gave it a try.
As I walked in, there was no friendly and inviting ambiance like other spas usually have (clean, a nice smell, soothing music, friendly and attentive reception). Usually, in any spa, they'll give you a robe to change into and inform you about the items you will need to use, but there was nothing. I had to figure it out myself and ended up wearing a batik, which apparently was not what I should have used. There was no foot cleansing as shown on their Instagram reel, so I just had to lay on the bed, and she directly touched me without asking permission or even giving a heads-up, which shocked me. She didn't use anything when she gave me a massage, just her dry hands. It was painful! She didn't even ask if the pressure was okay. Halfway through the treatment, she applied lotion instead of oil.

This is our first time visit Aston Madiun. When we booked, there's no other room than junior suite.
When we check in, the staff give us the smoking room as they don't have other room available.
But during my booking via OTA it stated that room is non smoking.
Staff mentioned that they already give treatment to make room less smells. But as non smoker, it quite disturbing.
When we mentioned this to the staff, they give us air diffuser (? ) yet smell still there. Later, staff give us room freshener. It's better.
Suggestion to the hotel management, if you don't have other non smoking room please stated clearly in all your sales platform/ channel to avoid customer disappointment.
But the rest it's quite good experience, location ok, bed clean.

My wife and I frequently come here for the Buffets and my parents enjoyed their stay. Particularly the breakfast is outstanding. The restaurant food's quality and variety is always top notch and certainly the best deal in Madiun. Highly recommend the H&E Restaurant for any travellers or locals, whether you're staying at the hotel or not.
