Nice size room near the 3 metre deep swimming pool.
Staff helped me get my the Health Certificate to hike Ijen.
Decent Omelete fruit breakfast.
Tea & Coffee available in the room also.

We stayed 3 nights at Rumah Bata. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast that was cooked for you every morning was beyond expectation. This is an ideal spot for visiting Ijen Crater — only around 40 minutes to the start of the hike. The staff were all very helpful and there are some lovely warungs within walking distance.

Sometimes, happiness comes from places you least expect. I realized this when I stayed at Rumah Bata. I never imagined we could have such a wonderful stay in a private bungalow guest house for under IDR 400K. To be honest, I was a little worried it might be a scam—until I experienced it myself.
The accommodation was beautiful, like a charming bungalow. The pool was clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that they provided a proper breakfast despite the low price. They even had a smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix. The bathroom featured a panoramic skylight ceiling, which made it feel modern and airy.
I truly loved it and would definitely come back if we decide to hike Mount Ijen again someday.
