Review of Hotel Horison GKB Gresik 3*

I recently stayed here for four days with my family as part of my cousin’s wedding celebration, which was also held at the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
For a 3-star hotel, the level of service felt like 6 stars. Every staff member, including the receptionists and security, was friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
The food from the hotel’s restaurants was also a highlight. Most of the dishes were delicious, and the duck menu was a standout—absolutely worth recommending! Room service meals were very affordable and tasty for a hotel of this level, though the service time was quite slow, often taking over 40 minutes per order. Additionally, the dinner menu set (arisan package) was a bit inconsistent—some dishes were excellent, while others lacked flavor and tasted a little bland.
Housekeeping did a good job overall, but there’s room for improvement. Items like stuffed animals on the bed weren’t always returned to their place after cleaning, extra bath mats I requested weren’t replaced, and I noticed some areas like the floor weren’t thoroughly cleaned (e. G. Hair left behind).
One unique and cool feature of this hotel is that the rooms come with Google TV—not just Android TV! For me, that was a great bonus, as it provided excellent entertainment options during the stay.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Horison GKB. With just a few small improvements, this hotel could be even better. The service, hospitality, and amenities make it a great choice. Thank you for a memorable stay, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!
