Senyum World Hotel

Totally not recommended. A hotel that doesn't reserve its facilities to guests only is a hotel that doesn't value its paying customers. Our room was great. The big downfall of staying here is that the hotel facilities/recreational areas (swimming pool, mini golf, playground, other kids activities, etc. ) are not reserved for hotel guests only. The lift and recreational area can be accessed by anyone including outsiders. No security checks, no need to use room key. So it is a big disappointing stay for my family. The recreational area is so crowded mornings and evenings and it is very obvious that many people were not hotel guests. So as paying guests (paid for the executive suite), my family and I are not pleased with our stay. Had I known that the hotel allows for this, I would never have stayed here. This is not our first time here but with the way this hotel does not value its paying guests, this stay surely will be our last.

Nice hotel with different continent themed rooms for each floor. I got japan themed floor last time, now got african themed one. Great locations if you want to explore Batu city.

I had a great time staying at this hotel. They have such complete facilities that are definitely child-friendly (I guess their target market is, of course, family-oriented). The room was very clean with great amenities. And of course I love the rooms which has a breath taking design and views.
However, unfortunately, the food was average. Since we stayed here for corporate business travel, they separated us from the regular guests for dinner and breakfast, which I think is why the menu lacked variety and taste.

Only good thing is the location everything else sucked.
The breakfast which is an extra charge of idr100k was cold and awful.
The safe was broken.
The room wasn't properly cleaned.
The fridge was warm.
The staff can't speak English.

The hotel is located on the main street of Malang-Batu, giving it a strategic location. It's just a step away from Dino Mall, which is convenient. However, there's room for improvement in cleanliness and staff friendliness. A simple smile and greeting wouldn't cost them financially but could enhance the guest experience. The playground is good, but again, cleanliness needs attention. The food was decent but nothing special. Overall, my experience was not bad.

The hotel consisted of two main buildings, the front one — thematic and the back one — the Green Building — panoramic. The two buildings are connected on the 1st floor, there are also many facilities such as pools, billiards, mini golf, games room, climbing, steam, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.
WOW they also have a library, where you can read a book in peace.
Plenty of parking both outside and inside.
Once you enter the lobby, it feels comfortable with a fairly spacious room and several sofa chairs.
The breakfast menu is quite complete and delicious.
The rooms are spacious with standard facilities such as Wi-Fi, TV, AC, hot water kettle, refrigerator.

My experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, my requests were simply not fulfilled; it felt like the staff didn't care about meeting guests' needs. Speaking of the staff, they were quite unfriendly and unhelpful throughout my stay. The room itself was a disaster. It was clear that maintenance was sorely lacking—there was a leak from the AC unit, the wallpaper was moldy, the chair was very disgusting, the blanket was not suitable for a standard hotel, the plywood floor was peeling, the curtain's vitrage was cut haphazardly, and the balcony was filthy with peeling paint on the railing.
The breakfast experience was equally dreadful. It was chaotic, with spills all over the serving dishes. The dishes themselves were not properly washed; they were greasy and left a bad taste. Overall, the entire stay was a letdown, and I have no desire to ever stay at this hotel again.

Location is a winner. If you are coming to the Dino Park, this is a great place to stay. It is walking distance to the park.
It is NOT the best place to stay, but it’s fine — for a night. But don’t expect much. The hot water is on a timer, the towels are small, pillows are flat… But, There is a big fridge, rooms a descant, AC works, clean sheets and….

Dino park only opens at 11am, so kids can do activities before entering the park. Activities here open at 8am.
Negatives, it’s a little run down and not that clean. Service is not the best. We went during the off season (and during Ramadan) so the kitchen was closed.
