What a great experience. This hotel with its enormous gardens and great service is fabulous. You must stay here if you get the chance. Very affordable when you compare it to places in other parts of Indonesia like Bali. Forget the places that are controlled by greed, price gough and venture here. Well done. 🙏

Staying at Singhasari Resort was truly a delightful experience. From the smooth and friendly check-in process, the serene mountain atmosphere, to the complete facilities such as the swimming pool, spa, and kids’ playground, everything made our holiday memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a private balcony offering fresh Batu air. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of tasty options, and the location is very strategic—close to many family attractions in Batu. Overall, Singhasari Resort is perfect for both family holidays and a short staycation, with professional service and a warm resort vibe.

I had the chance to use the gym, which was well-equipped and well-maintained, and also participated in an enjoyable outbound activity on the resort’s spacious and green lawn — a refreshing break from indoor sessions.
The staff were friendly and professional from check-in to check-out. The resort offers a peaceful and lush environment, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays.

Our stay at The Singhasari Resort was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and family-friendly charm. We stayed in the Premier Room, which was incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a touch of Javanese elegance. And it also have bathtub, a win for me and the kids.
Traveling with young children usually means lots of “what-ifs, ” but at Singhasari, everything was thoughtfully taken care of. Both indoor and outdoor play area was a lifesaver — safe, clean, and fun — and the swimming pool was a huge hit for the little ones, complete with a shallow area perfect for toddlers. My kids were so happy that they didn’t want to leave!
The staff truly made our stay exceptional. Every interaction felt genuine and warm. From the check-in process to the room service, we were treated with such care that it felt like home away from home.
Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was impressive — from local delicacies to Western comfort food — and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The free cappucino is worth mentioning.

Impressive! Disambut dengan keramahan staff hotel dan indahnya pemandangan sekitar hotel. Ruang tunggu yang spacious, classic ornaments, various types of Indonesian cuisines, and tons of outdoor activities. You'd love staying here with family and friends. Breakfast menus are to die for. I wish I was fasting a day before so that I could taste each of them.

We had a perfect stay here with our baby. The hotel is beautiful, with a great vibe throughout. Kid-friendly facilities were a big plus — everything felt comfortable and thoughtful for families. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with little ones!

The ambiance was excellent even for short getaway. The service right from the beginning was good also. We can get a free valet parking services, the check in process is less than 20 minutes which is good. The hospitality, the room and its amenities was good. The food at kutaraja delicious, just recommend the more availability of baby chair when high season comes. Overall I do really satisfied and recommend to stay at The Singhasari Resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful resort in Batu, Malang, and I can confidently say it deserves a full 5 stars. The best 5-star hotel & resort in Batu. I had an amazing stay at this resort! The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The amenities, including the pool, kid playgrounds, and kid activities were top-notch. It’s an ideal getaway for relaxation or a romantic retreat. Highly recommended.

The Resort is great, newly renovated, and completed with many kids friendly feature (kids club, outdoor playground, kids activities, pool, etc).
We also love the ambience of the room, classy classic javanese interior with a proper light. We also had a good dinner experience at its japanese restaurant, delicious!
However, we took note on unpleasant breakfast system! The staff will allow every visitor to come in to restaurant. The staff did not care whether the table availabe or not and did not accompany visitor to the table! so the chaos happened! we need to find the table by ourselves and FIGHT for it! it also occurs for ordering food and drinks.
We actually only need a usual system of bfast like any other five stars hotel, caring staff who check the table and designated the table for every visitor.

Overall, the building is massive and well structured. The design is classic and cozy after staying for one night. I paid a room >Rp 1, 000, 000, just only got a stained bed, an empty shower gel, one cup mug for brushing teeth (it supposed to be two), and not soundproof room, I can literally heard the guest speaking from the corridor. I also got dinner coupons and breakfast, but the tastes are not really into my cup of tea. The activities here are not suitable for young adults or adults to relax and have a great time with family. But if you have kids, they provide lots of activities to do. Compared to the other five stars in batu, I can suggest this hotel to the families that had infant-preschooler. Above that, they might get bored or disappointed.
The service is here polite and friendly, reflects Indonesia's culture very well.

Everytime we go to Batu, we always stay in this hotel. It was one of a decent hotel in the town. The room is super beautiful with a teak wood decoration. The staffs are friendly. The facilities are superb especially they improved their kids club. However they used to have many events so the best is to avoid the weekend or request a quiet room. The last time we came back they welcomed us with some fruits and cakes. Mrs. Vicky as front manager always help us to make sure that we are pleased.
Maybe my only advice is please make sure to keep the flies away during breakfast and maybe separate between a big group with regular guests since it is uncomfortable and we feel a bit suffocated.

Had quite a pleasant stay.
First impression arriving at the hotel was underwhelming. Had to hit the restroom and naturally was directed to closest to lobby. Broken door knob, tap would not shut well and trash can could not open. Had I not booked in advance and some friends had actually stayed there, I would have chosen someplace else.
Luckily room was nothing alike. Clean and fairly well maintained — save for water leaking out of the shower area despite door already shut tight. Love that each room has its own balcony.
Pool (and its changing) plus kids' club can use some better cleaning. Have to give them credit though as both are quite nice especially the club. Great selection of books, looks newly renovated and safe. There's also outdoor playground for bigger kids — also looking real new.
Finally meals and staff were just awesome. Hospitality is top notch and though many are visibly working long hours thanks to holiday events, etc. You can feel that Javanese courtesy in the air. Great selection for breakfast and overall meal. Favorite was tom yum noodle and pastry. They can up their pest control game though. Would certainly eat more if not for the flies.

The resort is lovely, amazing reception all and beautiful common spaces. We enjoyed our time there and we almost used all the possible facilities. Some areas need renovation but in general it is a beautiful, classic 5 star hotel. The staff is all amazing! They really look after you always with a smile, outstanding. The room was nice, with pool access but it needs some touching up starting from a new air con unit. Recommended for the not-so demanding travellers.

This hotel really worth the stars. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staffs were nice and helpful. The most important was the facilities, superb! I stayed with my in-laws and also my nieces and nephew; and they enjoyed this hotel very much. The pool was clean, there were kids club and many activities (flying fox and even horse riding). Overall a very pleasant experience. I'm one satisfied guest and would definitely come back in the future!
