eL Hotel Banyuwangi

We spent two nights in So Long Villas prior to moving to this hotel, so we weren't expecting an outstanding or memorable stay. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely design of the hotel, the excellent pool, the spacious, clean, and comfortable room, the friendly staff, and the pretty good breakfast. Good job, El!

One thing for sure, the bed is super duper comfy. The room is spacious. The food is delicious both western and indonesian. The service is excellence, the staff always smile to greet you in every part of the hotel and very helpful. I booked the royal suite room and found everything I need in the room, the room is clean and the lightning is classic yet warming, they already place praying mat in the room so you don't have to asked to the staff (a special personal touch worth to mention), the place is quiet and cozy even tho near the main road. The price is affordable for Banyuwangi area. Overall I do enjoy staying here and celebrate my wedding. I would like to give my best thanks to Mbak Devi, Mbak Nila, Pak Chris FBM, Chef, Mbak Vinda, Mbak Filda who has been great to make my Wedding feels like a dream come true and make my stay memorable 🫶🏻✨️

We stayed here for 6 nights. The stay was pretty comfortable. Nice swimming pool also.
Main thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. The food lacks variation and is not that tasty. There are only a few warm indonesian dishes to choose from (always chicken and breaded fish) with the only variation on it is the sauce. You need more options and variation for a 4 star hotel! Also the (trainee? ) staff at the omelet station really doesn't understand the guests. Several time we had issues ordering from them.

First time visiting Banyuwangi and staying at this beautiful hotel.
The staff were all very nice and friendly. The room was comfortable with a balcony, and the breakfast was good.
There’s also a fish pond right next to the restaurant, which made dining even more relaxing.
Plus, there’s a minimart and a restaurant nearby, making it easy to grab anything you need.

Staying at eL Hotel Banyuwangi was honestly a beautiful escape! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like I was coming home—super friendly and helpful. The view from my room? Wow—straight to a big, exotic-looking pool with a fun kids’ area. It felt like I was in a private resort! The room was cozy, clean, and perfect for recharging. And don’t get me started on the breakfast—so many tasty choices, I wanted to try everything! If you ever find yourself in Banyuwangi, do yourself a favor and stay here. Totally worth it!

Breakfast experience also pleasant one! Ms. Tiara and Ms. Angel always there to greet and provide service and information about the unique local cuisines, not forget to mention it is nice to speak with the Excecutive Chef, the man behind delicious cuisine in their all day dining restaurant, food is delicious in a reasonable price!
Do choose Deluxe Room with Pool View when you book here! upper floor if possible, their room is generous compared to the newest hotel in comparison, it clean. Welldone to Housekeeping team!
Hotel area are also green and well maintained, Wi-Fi also quite good. The car park which is managed by Security team (easy to find car park), all staff are there around the corner to help you, — YOU CAN FEEL IT — they made us feel welcome and in homie situation, never been a stranger as same Indonesian guest.
A 5 star touch in 4 star hotel, welldone to the management! Thank you.
