Shown on various hotel booking websites as a 3* hotel! Far from it! I have just completed a 50 day tour of Sumatra & Java staying in numerous hotels/guest houses and the "Superior Queen Room" provided would not be acceptable for a 1* hotel!
The tiny room 13 sq metres was so small even for 1person! … Kuggage had to be stored on the half of bed I was not sleeping on!
No washbasin or even a bowl provided — only water supply was a shower! … Having visited 48 countries at least external basic hand and face washing/shaving facilities avsilable — at this hotel nothing in the room at all! Have you tried brushing your teeth using a shower! … No toilet paper or bottled water in the room but a kettle, was provided with 2 cups but only 1 teabag & 1 coffee sachet and no milk/powder! … Hard luck if 2 people wanted coffee or more than 1 drink! … A water dispenser was available 50 metres away — no doubt I was, expected to get dressed and walk outside with the kettle in my hand if I wanted a hot drink at bedtime!
1 electric plug socket "hidden" beneath the TV with a workers extension roll available to reach the bed! … No bedside table or reading light — no olace to out my reading glasses, medication, contact lens etc…
Even the TV was placed on the "side wall" so even watching TV from the bed was impossible… No desk or chair available (probably because there was insufficient space in the room! ).
The receptionist & security guard helped with some bottled water and toilet paper.
