The upsides:
— location is quite strategic to city centre so it's really near & cheap to go anywhere with cheaper prices to pay whenever I want to explore the city with online taxis. But the nearby areas aren't that busy so it's pretty quiet too.
— the room is really cool with 3 separate single beds for a family that consists of 3 adults (for my personal case). And my price for one night booking this type of room was cheap for a 4 star hotel.
— the rooms' cleanliness & neatness are satisfactory.
— thanks goodness they use a TV cable subscription for every room or something similar like that so it's already easily accessible to watch any channels on TV inside the room you want to, ranging from local to international TV channels. A rather satisfactory type of entertainment available for anyone who dislikes smart TVs at hotel rooms (I'm one of them, I'm not comfortable using those things. )
— toilets cleanliness are ok.
— breakfasts are free for anyone who stays at this hotel, no exception to how many people you bring with you. It's a 4 star hotel anyway so the availability of meals here are really various & they also felt really yummy for my taste buds. I ate fried rice, pasta (penne), cereals, sushi & several desserts. They all tasted great.
The downsides:
— the Wi-Fi connection here isn't so consistently fast. Sometimes it disappears even though I've already logged in with the provided username & password.
— in the room I stayed the hot water didn't work like how I wanted it to be. So my shower sessions were really cold no matter how much I already tried fixing that shower, which I already stated on my complaints at one of the photos below.
— oh, here's one more thing. A personal experience that also happened to some other people on the same floor as me (7th floor) on 2026/01/02 at 3 PM when we just checked in & wanted to get inside our rooms by tapping in the card to the door but after we tried several times we couldn't open/unlock the door. We already reported & complained about the problem to the employees here. It took quite longer for me than the others. We could only enter our rooms the last after everyone else was already able to. Thanks goodness the employees here were responsive & friendly. They say it takes some time for the cards to be able to be used, which is kinda weird to me cuz usually in other hotels I've stayed in I have never experienced such problem.
Would I come back again here someday if I had a chance to travel to Surakarta? I don't know. I personally have another go-to hotel brands at the suburban area that I feel more familiar with in here, which is also of the same level of quality.
