The Wimarion hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! Location is close enough to the city centre and still nicely located in the hills.
In April we stayed a week with the family; we had 2 connecting rooms which was ideal with the kids. The rooms were spacious and very clean, housekeeping did a good job keeping it clean, making the beds and fresh towels every day.
Friendly and helpful staff. Laundry service was good and very fast.
We loved the rooftop pool with the bar, nice to cool off a bit and enjoy a great view over Semarang.
Breakfast area was nice, we especially loved the outside area, really cosy and nice with the brEGGfast tables. So much choice of food, from Indonesian to European and with great pastry.
Also, the Skylounge is great to relax in the evening, a nice drink and good music (the night we were there 2 guys on a guitar were playing great songs).
We hope to visit again!

The bathroom was a bit smelly and found out the kettle wasn’t cleaned and up filled with old tea leaves (quite disgusting). I was wondering if the room was indeed being sterilized before I checked in.
One more annoying thing was they informed first that they have a true King Bed for Deluxe rooms, so I decided to cancel my previous booking on the Grand Deluxe (which they said no King Bed available for that type, the only way is to unite both the single beds or if I change room type to Deluxe to get a true King Bed). After I modified my booking, I still got the same united single beds that they claim as a King Bed. Quite disappointing because it’s very uncomfortable.
The only thing I like about the hotel was the breakfast. The options are quite many, even though during my 4D3N stays, the menu was almost very similar everyday.
