Louis Kienne Hotel Simpang Lima is a stylish city hotel that truly shines through its rooftop facilities. The infinity pool offers one of the most iconic views in Semarang, making it a favorite for evening relaxation. Rooms are modern and spotless, with large windows that showcase the city lights beautifully. While the parking can be a bit challenging, the hotel's strategic location near malls and local street food makes it an excellent, high-value choice for a city stay. "

I had high expectations for this hotel because it was recommended by a friend, but unfortunately, I was not impressed. The room we booked was spacious and had a nice view; however, the bathroom was very small. Apparently, all the bathrooms in the hotel are designed this way. The shower head and holder were rustic and old, making it difficult to use.
To make matters worse, the bed was uncomfortable. The mattress did not feel right and caused discomfort, so I couldn’t sleep the entire night. I requested a room change for the following night, and thankfully the staff were helpful. The new room was better, and the shower was replaced, which I appreciated.
Breakfast was very basic with limited choices, and the breakfast area was quite small and uncomfortable. On a positive note, we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant by the pool, although it was very quiet during our visit.
The location is good, near Simpang Lima, with plenty of street food options nearby and close to the big park.

Near Simpang Lima Semarang. A well-known landmark of Semarang city. You can reach it bu foot.
Actually this building is a combination of Apartment and Hotel. Both of the have the same lobby but different elevator to access it.
If you have a car, you need special skill to park, to maneuver, to take a turn between storey. It is Narrow! Sorry I can't provide any picture.
The Room quite spacious. I haven't tried the breakfast, the pool and the rooftop amenities they provide.
The hospitality from staff can be improved.
Once I have a lot of things I need to carry and no one open the door for me. Haha 😅
