The building is newly renovated, and I chose this hotel because it’s strategically located right in front of Simpang Lima.
Room: I booked 2 deluxe rooms with a view, and honestly, the view was really nice. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. However, unfortunately, one of the rooms had a huge pillar inside, which completely blocked the window view. This was very different from the photos and wasn’t mentioned in the description when booking. I complained, but the receptionist explained that since the building used to be a mall, there’s a possibility of getting a room with a pillar inside. Luckily, only one of the rooms had this issue if both did, I would have been very disappointed.
Breakfast: Everything was delicious, with a wide variety of menu options. This was definitely a plus point the food was tasty, the selection was plenty, and the breakfast area was spacious and comfortable.

This hotel was a good choice during our stay in Semarang. It’s located exactly at Simpang Lima area, just across the park. I booked 2 rooms with interconnecting doors and the rooms were clean, neat, and spacious. Only one thing mattered that time. I had to wait pretty long for the interconnecting doors to be unlocked and opened. That’s quite a hassle for me because I had to unpack my things back and forth between those rooms. The staffs were friendly tho.

Stayed here for 1 night.
What went well:
— Staffs are generally attentive.
— Location is very strategic.
Even better if:
— Not entirely their fault, but turns out the mall that supposed to be integrated to the hotel is already not operating. Hence, this might create some "logistic" issue.
— In the room I stayed, there's a large pillar which takes a LOT of the net room size. Hence they should reduce the room size they advertise (refer to the photo & video I posted)
— Very strange basement parking arrangement, where there's only stairs to connect from the hotel without any lift/elevator. This might create an issue when you bring large luggage. Yes, the car can be driven to the lobby, but it will take another effort.

Stay here from 8-10 April 2025 in family room. New hotel in town, still under renovation. Location is very strategic near simpang lime. Room is okay for this price. Breakfast is okay, but the croissant and waffle very chewy.

The experience of staying at this hotel as an accor member was very bad, there were no benefits. As a member I will not recommend this hotel. There is no effort from the hotel to make its members comfortable. This morning there was no one on duty for breakfast, so I couldn't even ask for fried eggs because there was not a single hotel staff in the restaurant. What a bad hotel.

First time staying at ibis styles semarang.
I can say this hotel still new not so long ago.
Its located in the heart of semarang juts right in front of simpang lima!
Parking was spacious and its free since I know before you need to pay 10.000 for everyday.
Room was fabulous, ac was cold.
Definitely get my platinum compliments inside.
Food at breakfast was tasty.
They only have a few room categories.
This hotel have a really small gym, just right to restaurants.
Its enough to get you exercise.
Unfortunately I dont get many pictures since it was short stay. Late check in at early check out.

It was fine for a 3 star hotel. But the Manager on duty on Sunday morning should check and make sure everything is in place. Spent 1.5 hrs in the gym. In that range of time, I tried to ask anyone for towel and drinking cups. No one was available. The only staff I seen was at the egg station making omellete. So I had to asked him to inform his colleague. After spending 45 min on treadmill and no one showed up, went out and complained to an attendant in the dining area. Not long after a guy hand me a towel but no drinking cup. I end up taking a glass in the dining area. But again, with a glass in hand I found out the water dispenser is empty. I can only 😮‍💨

Actually this is a new hotel with an attractive design, quite spacious and clean. But the services provided should still be improved.
The location of this hotel is very strategic, right at Simpang Lima Semarang and next to the culinary center so you don't need to worry about finding food.
The corridors and rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, lots of unique decorations.
But this hotel does not have a swimming pool and the breakfast served is very inadequate. The taste of the food is not so good and the menu is limited, and it takes a long time to refill.
