Recommended place to stay for family or business trip. I enjoyes the swimming pool sooo much. It’s clean, relaxing, and perfect for both kids and adults. The restaurant serves delicious food with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. The connecting rooms are super convenient for family trips, making it easy to stay close while still having enough space. Overall, the service is friendly, the location is strategic, and the facilities make it worth every stay. (Everything is reachable by walking. Pedestrian friendly sidewalk)

Perfectly located close to Simpang Lima Semarang, the welcoming staff, especially the reception team headed by Wolan and Iqbal, made sure we felt right at home. The whole hotel crew delivered an impeccable experience, providing top-notch accommodations with cozy rooms for a restful night's sleep and tasty meals from the restaurant. The breakfast in the morning was a treat, and with a gym and pool on site, it genuinely felt like a comprehensive package for a soothing getaway. I would definitely select this hotel for my family, feeling secure, at ease, and welcomed.

Disappointing for a "4-Star" — More Like a 3-Star with Room for Improvement.
I recently stayed at Hotel Santika Premiere Semarang and while its city center location is excellent, I found the overall experience to be quite underwhelming for a hotel marketed as 4-star. In my opinion, it feels more like a 3-star property, primarily due to its aged condition and lack of upkeep.
First, a significant inconvenience is the absence of an elevator from the parking area, making it difficult to transport luggage. The hotel generally feels old and outdated. My room, in particular, showed signs of wear and tear: the bed sheets and furniture looked worn out, and the washbasin sink and shower drain were clogged. What was most concerning was the presence of mold in the washroom, indicating a need for more thorough maintenance.
Cleanliness also seemed to be an issue, as some of the plates were not clean. The breakfast, while available, was average with limited options, especially for foreign visitors, being predominantly Indonesian food. The bread and croissants were not good either. Even basic amenities like shampoo and body soap were of basic quality.
While the location is truly fantastic, right in the city center, the hotel's current condition detracts significantly from the overall stay. It has the potential to be a great hotel, but a substantial renovation and a stronger focus on cleanliness and guest comfort are urgently needed to truly justify its 4-star rating.

Such a great experience to stay here, we even extended. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Mbak Wulan! She helped us a lot even though we asked a lot. At first, the shower faucet in our bathroom was malfunctioning. I asked the staff, and they quickly fixed the problem and even gave us the solution to move to another room. The room was comfy, spacious, and clean. It also near the Simpang Lima, it only took around 5 min to go there. Overall worth to stay, thank you for the services and compliment.

Hotel Santika Premiere Semarang has always been my go-to place to stay ever since I was a kid, and I’m glad to say the service has remained consistently excellent over the years. I stayed in room 505 from 1–6 April 2025 while visiting my hometown and family in Semarang during Lebaran, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with great facilities and amenities.
The food was delicious, offering a wide variety—with a special mention for the Semarang traditional food corner, which added a nice local touch. Special thanks to Mr. Abel at the restaurant, who was very helpful and friendly. The other staff were also incredibly helpful and hospitable, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
I always feel at home here and will definitely keep coming back in the future!

Here for 5 nights during 2025 Ramadhan, I've stayed in Santika Premiere Semarang for the past 2 Ramadhan. This hotel provides you very clean and spacious room, the room cleanliness is without doubt. Building gives vintage vibes but I can assure you that it's very well-maintained. The breakfast also very nice, they serve quite a variety of food. What I love from this hotel is that the staff is super friendly! Particularly mas Imam, mas Iqbal, mas Bani, mba Angel and mba Wulan! They've been a great help while accomodating my family in the hotel ❤️☺️. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Semarang.

We visited this hotel during our visit to Central Java. The hotel seems aged, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. They have a kids' pool, so our kids had activities during their stay.
The breakfast is good. Locations are strategically in the middle of the Semarang city center.

Executive King Room was poorly maintained & poor attention to detailed cleaning ; loose trash, unpolished floor & headboard, mossy shower head (that I had to brush clean them before I used it), stained bedcover sheets, out-of-shaped pillows. Regretting choosing this place for 3-nites stay but what can I do when it's been paid in advance? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Clean, good location, old but seems well maintained. Breakfast was OK. Enough choices. Swimming pool is rather small, more suitable for kids.

Stayed here with my family for 2 days. The parking area is spacious, and the security directed us to a spot, though it was quite full. Checking in took a bit long as the room wasn't ready yet. The room is worth the price. There's also a swimming pool facility. The food is delicious, with an Indonesian taste. Surprisingly, during checkout, I met Putri, Wulan, and Dimas. The staff were very kind, friendly, and sincerely attentive to the guests. Thank you, Santika Semarang.

I have a vacation trip here. It's quite an old hotel, the staff said about 30 years old.
I manage my booking via Agoda. I pick the Deluxe King Room, and the hotel contacted me and said that the King bed is subject to availability upon my check in. I clearly mention, that Santika put a listing, Deluxe King Room and Deluxe Twin Room as different items and price. I clarified to them and no response until my arrival at the hotel. What I get is only a twin bed that is merged as one.
The room space is actually a big deal, it's spacious although with an old design.
The shower selector switch needs to be serviced, the shower is broken and makes my clothes wet accidentally.
In the morning breakfast, it's completely worse compared to other Santika in Bali or Santika Premier in Jakarta. It's really unpleasant. The restaurant is really small compared to the guest or room number. It's really crowded. There is no time scheduling offer to manage this risk.
And most of my complaints are breakfast. I came about 8.30 AM, and the egg corner said that they were out of eggs. The number of variants of the menu is super minimalist according to 4 stars hotels. The taste is disappointing. Dimsum and siomay are cold, the porridge has poor condiments. Fried fish consists more of flour than the fish. And others…
Subject to the price that is usually flat between Santika Premiere, I am not satisfied staying here.

Still the best place to stay at Semarang on vacation with my family for 4 days, near Simpang Lima Night Food delicacy and almost surprised for the new room designed and new Samsung 43" smart Google TV is a plus with netflix youtube etc. Wifi speed is really fast 90Mbps.
Complete Indonesian and European menu for breakfast, 5 different kind of juice and great variety of cookies and fruit arrangement.
Oh and we got wellcome cake from the hotel.

Probbably the best hotel I have been to. Sheets are white, everything works, buffet food tasty. I do not like the pool though, however overall good hotel. (I slept on the sofa lol)

Great value hotel with warm hospitality despite the age of this hotel. The receptionists' service was quick and attentive 👏 The banquette was helpful and the marketing person Mr. Khamid was responsive so the hotel could meet our needs.
However, my room at 10th floor (if I am not mistaken) was a bit… spooky… as the windows's model is very vintage like it has been there since 90s or so. I visited my friend's room at different floor and the 'atmosphere' is very much normal as the windows are wide.

Great hospitality in town.
Near from culinary and access is easy to find.
Nice and warm place to stay with family and suitable for kiddos.
You can walk around the city near to this hotel, the view at night is nice to enjoy from the room.
Price is worthy to spend the night here.

Old hotel but still very well maintained and especially friendly service typical of Javanese people. Also a very strategic location in the city center. Lucky to be able to stay here and really enjoy it.
