Review of Louis Kienne Hotel Pemuda 4*

8/10
The hotel is located in a strategic area and is close to a shopping mall. It has approximately 23 floors of guest rooms. I booked a Deluxe Double Room, and upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade.
The lobby is not very spacious, but it offers plenty of seating areas for guests. Access to the guest room floors requires a key card, which also serves as the room key. However, only one access card is provided per room. If you need to go to your room without the card, hotel staff are available to assist by tapping their access card in the elevator.
My room was upgraded to a one-bedroom residence unit featuring a bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining area, and a kitchen. However, no cooking utensils or dining equipment were provided. The room also came with a large refrigerator and a water dispenser, but unfortunately no water gallon was supplied, making the dispenser unusable.
The room’s interior was not as modern as that of the Deluxe Room. When opening the wardrobe, there was a noticeable scent of aged wooden furniture. The bathroom was clean, but the bed sheets could have been cleaner.
As for breakfast, the menu lacked variety for a four-star hotel, and the food taste could be improved. On the positive side, this hotel features a swimming pool located on the top floor, offering guests a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the view. It also has a fairly spacious outdoor playground area, making it a great option for families with children. All the staff members I encountered during my stay were friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout my visit.
