Hotel Aruss Semarang

I had a wonderful experience attending an event at this hotel.
The venue was beautiful and well-organized, the food was delicious, and the hotel facilities were excellent. Everything made the event feel special and enjoyable.
I would also like to give a big thank you to Kak Satria for always being so helpful and supportive throughout the event. His assistance truly made a difference.
Highly recommended, and I look forward to coming back again!

Good new hotel, clean, helpfull and friendly staffs and good food especially western choices. One thing that I expect more is actually thr lobby which I think would be great to have more spaces and spots to relax and perhaps enjoying coffee downstairs. You should let the lobby floors open wide and looks big.

Arrus Hotel is a very nice and comfortable place to stay in Semarang. The location is strategic, close to the city center, with many good food options and cafes around the hotel, which makes it very convenient both for business and leisure trips. The management and staff are very helpful, friendly, and responsive, making the whole stay feel easy and pleasant from check-in to check-out.
The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with good amenities and excellent service. I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant—it was delicious and well-prepared. The hotel has a semi-outdoor swimming pool, which looks great, although unfortunately I didn’t have time to enjoy it due to a full working agenda.
Overall, I had a very positive experience, and if I return to Semarang in the future, Arrus Hotel will definitely be my choice again.

What I like the most about this hotel is the ambience. The interior looks modern but still warm, not too flashy. Lobby and common areas feel comfortable to sit in, even just to scroll on your phone or wait for someone. Small detail but it matters.

This is my second time staying at Aruss and the quality is still consistent. Room condition, cleanliness, service all the same as my first visit. That’s something I really appreciate because not many hotels can keep their standards. Feels reliable, which is why I chose to come back.

Had a staycation here with my partner and the breakfast was better than we expected. Lots of options, from local food to the usual Western stuff. Coffee was actually good too, not the watery type. We ended up staying longer at the restaurant just to chill. Nice vibe, good hotel, good staff, good food, good morning. 🤍

Aruss hotel was a great choice for a big family staycation. Check-in was smooth, the staff were responsive, and the atmosphere felt exclusive yet welcoming. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay.
Dining at the restaurant was also a good experience. The food quality was consistent and the service was neat and organized. Special thanks to Vanesa, who helped us at the restaurant with a friendly, polite, and caring attitude. Her sincere and helpful service left a positive impression on our whole family.

The thing that really stood out during my stay was how consistently kind the lobby staff were. Every time I passed by, they greeted me warmly, helped with directions. When I needed anything, they handled it fast and calmly, which made everything feel effortless. Honestly, that little bit of hospitality at the lobby made the whole trip feel smoother and more welcoming.

The place already feels super comfy. Room’s clean, cool, and kinda gives that “I can finally relax” vibe after the whole trip. Tried walking around the hotel a bit and the staff were all super friendly, really helpful without being too much. It’s my first time staying here, but so far it’s been smooth and chill.

Aruss Hotel is an excellent place to stay while in a bussiness trip or just for staycation. It is located not in a downtown of Semarang but surrounded by many restaurants, shops, cafe, and other nice places.
The room was spacious, neat and clean, it has a refrigerator also. The bathroom was nice, and there is a hairdryer which is so helpful for girls.
The restaurant is a nice place too for chill out and dine in there. It serves various kind of food for breakfast, and all of them are delicious.
It has great pool, gym, and kids zone. The staffs are all friendly and helpful,. They serve us.

I stayed for 7 nights, and the service is exceptionally good. Fast check in process, comfy rooms, great breakfast, and the hotel staffs are very heplful… I can notice some staffs name such as Ms. Elvania and Ms. Aurel at the restaurant, and Ms. Diah in the housekeeping service for their excellent service. Keep it up, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that want to stay in the upper Semarang Area.

A good and new 4-stars hotel. Located near to the exit tol of Jatingaleh, Semarang, which make the hotel is easily accessible for most of the guests.
The lobby is compact but nice, the parking lot are adequate, the room is homey, clean, and have a good view.
There are a "jogging track" (although I must say it's more like a "walking track") on the 7th floor. The restaurant on the 3rd floor serve various dishes with great taste. The swimming pool on the 3rd floor is kids friendly. The hotel also has kids corner, fitness center (small but great facilities), and also free sauna.
With the rate is still reasonable, I highly recommend Hotel Aruss Semarang as one of the best 4-stars hotel in Semarang.

Had breakfast this morning and one of the staff came by for a little chat, super friendly and warm, made my day start off on a good note. The food selection was great too, everything fresh and tasty. Honestly, love how chill the whole vibe here feels in the morning.

Been traveling quite a lot lately, but this hotel really stood out… quiet, clean, and the staff were genuinely kind. Breakfast was simple but good, coffee hit just right in the morning. I’m an old man, but felt young again sitting by the window enjoying the view. Would definitely come back someday.

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was what I would call average for Indonesia when you stay at a nice hotel. They did have a good selection of Indonesian food at the buffet, which I liked. The staff was warm and greeting. I always book a hotel with a gym because working out is important to me so this might not be something that is relevant to you, but if it is, the gym was a little bit small and lacking. The pool area was slightly beneath part of the building so it did not get a lot of sunlight, which was a shame. The hotel itself is on a busy road so it’s not exactly a scenic area. Also check-in started at 2 PM and when I got there at four I had to wait about 10 minutes for the room to be ready which to me is an automatic points deduction for any hotel. The hotel could use some new carpeting on the eighth floor at least where there was a few patches of carpeting missing. Just little things. You have to have realistic expectations though and be flexible with your expectations depending on the country you’re in.

Staying here was truly a wonderful experience. The environment and hygiene were impeccable. The rooftop open-air bar had a great atmosphere. Especially, the hotel manager, Syafikale, provided us with tremendous assistance. She is a very attentive and conscientious girl.

I stayed at Hotel Aruss for more than three weeks and I was so sorry to leave. All staff was so familiar and friendly. I will miss them. Anyway, the Hotel is wondeful. A wide hall, with seats where you can just relax or work and quick elevators. At the 3rd and 11th floor there are two restaurants. The former is also dedicated to breakfast (with a wide choice of salty and sweet food). The second has an amazing view on Semarang, a very interesting menu and live music. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with any comfort. The laundry service is extremely efficient. A huge thank you to all the staff of Aruss hotel. I do not know all the names, unfortunately, so, if I am missing someone, please do apologize. I do not know, for instance, the doormen, who were so attentive and considerate. Thank you to the superkind Zen, the manager/guest relations; thanks to the staff in charge of breakfast: Syam, Vega, Indri, Diego, David, Chintia, Nida, Arif, Novi, Ken, Bungkus, Krisnadi, Putri. A huge thank to Masya for taking care of my room and to Amanda, Putri and Diah for the laundry service.
