Great value and location, but the hotel really needs an upgrade. Our room on the 6th floor was okay though there was a bit of a smell each time we came in which was a bit annoying. Outside the room, the corridors look rather falling apart and not "fresh" especially the carpet floors. Wifi was slow unfortunately, so I didn't use it until we left Semarang.
Service was good and staffs were friendly and willing to help. This hotel is just a few minutes away to Kota Lama which is full of colonial era buildings. If you're traveling by train, Semarang Tawang station is also close about 15 minutes by car. Overall a good hotel thanks to its location, though it would've been better if the hotel could get an upgrade.
Old hotel with old facilities. Breakfast was fair but less variety. No coffee machine when breakfast. The coffee was low quality.
Egg station just ti slow to serve. It took 10 minutes to make omelet and only 1 cooker provides. So during 07.00 to 09.00 o'clock of breakfast time only 12 guests to be served (compared to hundred guest to breakfast).
Toilet's closet in room 5th floor was not properly working. I could not thouroughly flushed the poop.
The RFID key was also stucked not working. It took approximately 15 minutes to call technician to open.

Hotel located est. 10 minutes away from Tawang train station. Room was clean upon checking in despite last minute booking and receptionist was helpful as well. Thank you for your help with my laundry as I sent it in for a wash late in the afternoon and needed to collect it early in the morning the next day. The laundry is ironed and cleaned well, it smells good. Terima kasih 🙏🏻
