Stayed here for a business trip, and the experience was very professional. The room was comfortable, the work area was supportive, and the hotel was quiet, which helped me stay productive. The staff were efficient and responsive, as expected from a five-star hotel.
Breakfast was well arranged and the restaurant atmosphere was comfortable. Special appreciation to Vanesa who was polite, and very helpful. Simple and sincere interactions like this made the business trip more enjoyable.

Had a really comfortable stay at Gumaya Tower Hotel. Great location in the heart of Semarang, easy to get around. The room was clean and spacious with a nice city view. Staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and breakfast had a good variety. Definitely a great choice for a five-star stay in Semarang.

Comfortable and well maintained hotel. Smells lovely. Service is very good but impersonal. Gym is big and clean. The pool in itself is fine, but there are no parasols or other types of shade next to it. This makes it almost impossible to really enjoy as it is way too hot during the day — > no chilling at the pool.
Breakfast is really good and keeps being supplemented throughout the buffet time slot.

We stayed here for 2 nights. After that we move to another hotel that we usually stay. My husband suddenly remember that he left his pants there. We come back, they said they found it and has keep it. We are quite disappointed that they didn’t inform us earlier but rather, they chose to keep it and wait for us. How about if we have gone back to our city?
However aside from that, we enjoy the stay with executive lounge.
My recommendation for the breakfast food to make it more variety as many of the foods are fried rather than a healthier choice.

A great hotel with an impressive lobby.
I stayed in a grand deluxe room for 2 days with my family, I've got a free lounge at 17th fl.
Spacious room, Spacious bathroom with bathtub.
Breakfast was good, various menus. They served local food, like Soto and Nasi Semarang, Korean food,, jamu, ice cream, fresh juice, porridge, and pudding.
The hotel nearby with many local food.
Soto, sate, ayam goreng, and coffee shop.

GRO Novi and the restaurant Waitress really helped me and my family during our stay. At breakfast I was escorted by Ms Novi to find a seat, because the restaurant was quite busy. Explanation of the available menus. I feel like staying in my own home.
The breakfast menu is amazing. Very kids friendly, popcorn, fountain chocolate, cotton candy.
If you really like the family hotel concept, this hotel is the best choice for you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Staff is amazing, friendly and kind.
Breakfast options vary from Indonesian to European/US dishes.
Room was clean, spacious, tub and shower option and a comfy bed will greet you.
The hotel chains in Europe and US can’t compete with the hospitality shown by the Gumaya staff.

Located in the heart of city, one of the first 5 star hotels in Semarang. The ambience is nice, the services is good. The room is spacious, have a lot of amenities. The breakfast also have lots of food options.

Rooms are big and spacious. Clean. Need more comforter on bed and decoration pillow but rest is okay. I love the strong jet hot water and I can walk everywhere from here. The food are awesome. No debate on this one.

This was my second stay at gumaya tower hotel. This time the hotel felt much better. The house keeping, laundry services.
Over all food, restaurant spaces were much better.
The staff was very polite and service centric.
Had an efficient and peaceful experience.

Forget it’s good looks. This hotel is grossly dysfunctional. Stayed on the executive level and went to the executive lounge for happy hour — happy?!?!? Guests are limited to two drinks only. Asked to see the manager — there isn’t one.
Go stay elsewhere the service is bound to be better!

Staying at Gumaya early this July for business thingy. Nice, clean, comfy room as I expected from 5 star hotel. They still maintain and add new facilities to keep up with new properties in town. The breakfast galore, I enjoyed much. Thanks to Pak Dion who recognized me well and arranged my stay as I requested a night before. I appreciate. Keep it up the good service.

Stay here for business purposes and attending event. The room and service are good. The restaurant also nice but I expect there’s more variety of the menu. But they served local food especially original menu from Semarang. You can find some street vendors near hotel that offer satay in the night.

Four months ago I came here with friends, I wanna to visit several tourist destinations in Semarang. And we chose Gumaya Hotel to accompany us on our journey. The hotel is comfortable, there are many unique things about this hotel. Like the Indonesian president has been stay the night on this hotel, The Waiter named Calvin or Kevin told me about that, he is very friendly, have a really good at Speaking English and his smile makes it like a family atmosphere. He told about his experience handling wine and steak, And the most important point is that he knows tourist destinations in Semarang which really helps me. Anyway, it was really fun to talk to him. He deserves a tip haha. I hope I can meet him again then I let him open the wine for me. Terimakasih Gumaya Hotel and Terimakasih Calvin.

Very good rooms, clean and beautiful. Really, I enjoyed the bath, playing dire dire docks song and almost fell asleep in this heaven… Good flat TV screen with Netflix and YouTube. Scrumptious breakfast and smiling employees. Warm, welcoming atmosphere for a reasonable price. Definitely one of my favorite hotels ✨️✨️✨️✨️
