The hotel is well-located in the heart of Semarang, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. I stayed in the King Executive room, which was quite spacious (28 m²) and comfortable overall. However, a few issues affected the experience. Upon entering the room, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant. Due to its location on the top floor, the room became quite warm during the day, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up—though it was fine at night.
Concierge service needs improvement. It was quite difficult to find assistance when there was a wedding event taking place at the hotel. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very helpful and professional—special thanks for allowing an extra 30 minutes for late check-out.
Only standard-size towels were provided, and smaller ones were available only upon request. Amenities were basic, and there was a small stain on the bedsheet. Cleanliness, in general, could use some improvement.
Incredible value for money. We stayed for four days, our rooms were spacious and clean, well maintained too.
Public facilities are in good shape, only the kids play area could be renovated soon.
Food from the restaurant is tasty and breakfast is plenty. Last day we checked out very early and even got a little lunch package prepared for our journey.
We did walk to Chinatown and Kota Lama, which was very convenient.
