Sunsetfalls Gardens and Resort

We stayed at Sunsetfall Garden & Resort last weekend with our large family, booking two executive suites. Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel has a great concept with very nice interior design and architecture. The living room in our suite was spacious, perfect for family gatherings, and the private pool with warm water was a big hit with the kids. Our parents enjoyed the morning walk and had positive things to say about it. There was a minor issue with the main bedroom ceiling paint, possibly due to humidity, but it didn't really affect our stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of local dishes and Western choices. The staff were nice and friendly. While the price is above average, it is definitely worth it.

Mainly booked this hotel to enjoy some quiet and peaceful time in the countryside. An airport transport was offered and was reliable both ways, back and forth to the airport. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean, although it was evident that it requires some touch ups. Nevertheless, enjoyed the private pool and also that there were sockets right next to the bed. Very attentive and appreciated were the complementary snacks and water. The breakfast buffet was very rich but for Europeans probably not offered long enough (e. G. Until 11.00h would be nice).
Unfortunately, some things to be mentioned and the reason why it was an "average" stay only: Pool could've been cleaner and the insulation wasn't very good: Noises from the neighbors can be heard and although the pool rules clearly state that horseplay isn't allowed around the pool, it's not being followed. The sink in the bathroom seems to be rather small and there was no toilet paper at all. Unfortunately, the food was average only and not worth the price. Last but not least, especially as I thought and hoped for a quiet stay, this resort seems to be popular and is especially welcoming families which happened to make the noise levels in the resort too loud which was such a pity. None of the above would be an issue in the first place but due to the price of 150 USD per night, I think it's fair that something else could've been expected.

It was a pleasant experience staying at sunsetfalls Gardens and Resort. The facility was great for executive villa. Spacious with private warm pool, 2 bedrooms and a proper living room. The view was good although it's not the greatest.
The staffs were friendly and very articulate. They are helpful in many ways.
However the room in smaller villa is very small to my liking. There are private pool too in the smaller private villa but it's just not as cozy as the executive 2 bedroom villa.
On the morning, the hotel arranged a morning walk to a photo spot to get good view of Merbabu mountain. They also provide small breakfast in the spot and get good view of mount Andong and mount Telomoyo.
Breakfast in the resort was complete and varies with a lot of options. The meal taste is just average but the beverage is good.
In the second night, I fell on stairs and twisted my ankle in the parking lot, The staff immediately cared for me and provide ice for compression and even helped me with push chair as my movement was limited due to painful ankle. I really appreciate the help.
The thing that they can improve is the parking lot availability, and the arrangement of the smaller private villas.
In overall, I enjoyed my stay in the resort and definitely will come again should they have room of executive villa.
